ClassKlap Assessment Approach for Pre-Primary The Pre-Primary Assessments for the year 2022-23 has been customised to smoothly bridge the learning gap brought on by the disrupted school year(s) as a result of the pandemic. The syllabus and assessments for the academic year 2022-23 has been split into 2 sets – Set A and Set B Set A: Set A has the Reduced Syllabus which covers all the fundamental concepts that are paramount for the natural progression of learning. Formative Assessments (FA) 10 Marks Summative Assessments (SA) 30 Marks Set A - Nursery FA SA Set A - LKG & UKG FA SA 10 Marks 30 Marks 10 Marks 30 Marks Conceptual Understanding 7 Marks 20 Marks Conceptual Understanding 7 Marks 17 Marks Writing / Activity 3 Marks 10 Marks Writing 3 Marks 10 Marks Activity - 3 Marks Set B: Set B covers all the concepts that have not been covered in Set A (Full Syllabus minus Reduced Syllabus) as well as a few critical concepts from Set A. The concepts that are repeated from Set A will have different questions in the Set B assessments.
