09 Water Float and Sink Experiment Try this experiment to find out which objects float and sink. 1. Fill a bucket with water. 2. Take a steel spoon. 3. Take an empty plastic bottle. 4. Take a glass cup. 5. Put the spoon in the bucket. 6. Put the plastic bottle in the bucket. 7. Put the glass cup in the bucket. 8. What do you see? 9. Can you say which objects go into the water and which objects come on to the surface of the water? 10. The objects that stay at the bottom of the water are said to be sinking and those that stay on the surface of the water are said to be floating in the water. 11.
