Instructions: 1) Mix wheat flour, water and a little oil to make clay dough which is safe for children. 2) Add paints and glitter to make it colourful. 3) Encourage your child to make different shapes with the dough. 4) Dry the dough shapes in the sun to make them hard. 7
3 Cutting and Pasting Activity Materials Needed: Magazines or Old Books 8 Glue Scissors Thick Card Papers
Instructions: 1) Draw a shape such as a circle, square or a triangle on a thick card paper. 2) H elp your child tear pages from a magazine or an old book into small pieces. You can also use a pair of scissors to cut the paper into smaller pieces. 3) A sk your child to use glue and paste the small pieces of paper to fill the shape. 9
4 Wool Painting Materials Needed: Wool Paints Thick Card Papers Instructions: 1) Take paint in a plate or a palette and add a little water to mix them well. 2) Ask your child to dip a string of wool in the paint. Ask him/her to drag the wool on a thick card paper to make different patterns or designs. Use different wool for different 10 paints and make designs of your choice.
