Thirty incoming Honors freshmen accepted to this program spend five weeks over the summer before their first year on Clemson’s campus pursuing research with a faculty member, while benefiting from activities sponsored by the Honors College, such as white-water rafting trips, day hikes, and outings to sporting events or theme parks. Other benefits include being able to begin research and develop a relationship with a faculty mentor prior to enrolling in first-semester classes. Many times, EUREKA! students continue to research with their faculty member throughout their undergraduate studies.
