Over time David, who is never shortof words, began to share his story. David grew up inpre-war Hungary where he had a love for animals, especially whistling to them in the yard of his home everymorning. However, through various trials and challengesin his early life, David ended up facing a serious prisonsentence. Throughout all of these ups and downs he never lost his love for animals; however he did lose his ability tosing with the birds. This is when we first met David. Now, fast forward a few months… in August David received his new teeth and has been whistling non-stop ever since!Community members who know and love David have been calling Good Sam to tell us how happy he is and that helooks 20 years younger! We are also working to find him permanent housing so he can get back on his feet and re-build other areas of his life.2016 FDHA To see a short video and find out how you canPARTNER OF THE YEAR be a part of closing the 13 year life expectancy gap for the communities we serve:The Good Samaritan Health Center was recentlynamed the 2016 Fulton-DeKalb Hospital Authority TEXT: GS 13 TO: 33733Partner of the Year.
