As you are aware,we have a full page listing all the winners in each venue. In this issue, many of our winners have taken advertising pages, and we thank them for their support. In our next issue, we will feature our stud dogs. Each year this has been a feature, we have received a good response. It is an important section since many of us look for a stud dog for our breeding program, and this section gives us anopportunity to review the pedigrees, the required test results, as well as a brief description of the dog. The price remainsat $30.00 for a quarter page of advertising with photo and brief descriptions of the dog. I hope you will take advantage ofthis section. The next main events are the AKC National Championship and Westminster Kennel Club. Good luck to all exhibiting atthe shows. We hope to have a photo essay for both events in the next issue. We contacted recently approved AKC judges for Bearded Collies, inviting them to subscribe to our mailing list to thedigital version of the Beardie Bulletin. I am pleased to report that all have subscribed. We also have a special treat for our readers. Long time Beardie friend, owner and breeder, Ms. Judith LeRoy hassubmitted an entertaining article for us to enjoy. She has been missed by many of us, and I am sure our newcomers to thebreed will also be delighted that she has decided to return to writing for the Beardie Bulletin.Fall 2018 Specialty Issue Lillian Esposito Editor 3
