MWelceomsesage Pastor Earl King, Senior Pastor On behalf of the Executive Board, I welcome you to our 41st Annual National Conven- tion guided by the theme ‘Lord Give Me A Double Portion’ – 2 Kings 2 v 4-11. As you are aware, we were unable to host our Annual National Convention in the sanc- tuary last year due to the pandemic. All the services were held online. But thanks be God, this year, we are able to return to full in person services. As we seek the Lord for a double portion, let us be steadfast in our request and believe God for an out-pouring and infilling over these four days. Again, welcome to our 41st Annual National Convention 2021. 5

Vision Transforming lives through training, coaching and preaching of the gospel for the Glory of God. Mission Statement To cater to the total man through the teaching of God’s word for the fulfilment of divine purpose and the sustenance and continuation of the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ that will impact the community and all nation. Statement of Faith The Bible is our all-sufficient rule for faith and practice, hence this Statement of Fundamental Truths is intended as the basis of Fellowship among us, “that we speak the same thing” – 1 Cor. 1:10, Acts 2:42 We believe: 1. The Bible to be the inspired, only infallible, authoritative Word of God; 2. That there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; 3. In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His life, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, and in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory; 4. That for the salvation of lost and sinful men, reception of the Lord Jesus Christ and regeneration by the Holy Spirit are absolutely essential; 5. In baptism by the immersion in water as commissioned by our Lord Jesus. (St. Matt. 28:29). 6. In holiness of heart and life, healing for the body and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:1-4). 7. In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life; 8. In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost – that they are saved unto the resurrection of life; and that they are lost unto the resurrection of damnation; 9. In the spiritual unity of believers in Our Lord Jesus Christ. 6

Message From Branch Church Pastor Richard Samuels FMCOG, Lloyds Pen, Bushy Park, St. Catherine, Jamaica It is with joy that I offer warm Christian greetings to the Board of Officers, Ministers, and church members at home and in the diaspora, and all well-wishers in the All-powerful name of Jesus Christ. At last we are able to come together again in-person in the sanctuary to praise the name of Lord. I believe something great is in store for us in this season. The theme for our 41st Annual National Convention, “Lord Give Me a Double Portion” and referenced in 2 Kings 2:4-11 is indeed a timely one for the church. As I reflect on Elisha’s request, I wonder what drove him to ask for twice the anointing of the Spirit that Elijah had. He may have realized that given Elijah’s accomplishments, and the challenges of the time, the leadership task would be an enormous one to fill. He concluded that he needed an uncommon flow of the Spirit’s power to serve effectively. Believers today are faced with the growing promotion of alternatives to our faith, the constant dilution of the Gospel of Christ, and a surge in the spiritual and moral decline of our nation. These issues and more demand an uncommon flow of the Spirit’s power to come upon believers for such a time as this. May we experience such a release of the Spirit to move the unmovable and break the unbreakable - believe for it in this convention! 16

Message From Branch Church Pastor Basil Maddix FMCOG, Guava Ground, Clarendon, Jamaica To our Senior Pastor Rev. E. King, fellow Ministers and Saints, greetings in the most exalted name of Jesus Christ our Lord. It is a great blessing to be sharing in our 41st Annual National Convention. It is convention time again and we give God praise that we have been given another privilege to share in this wonderful four days of heaven on earth, where we can refresh ourselves in the presence of the Lord and hear from God through his servants. The theme for this convention “Lord Give Me A Double Portion” is fitting for the times that we are living in. According to 2 King 2:4-11, near the end of Elijah’s time on earth, he offered his assistant Elisha a gift; what can I do for you? Elisha answered, please let there be a double portion of your spirit on me. Throughout 2 Kings we read of the many miracles Elisha performed. This confirmed that he had indeed been granted a double portion. I pray that throughout these four days of convention, we will be endowed with a double portion of God’s spirit so that we will be able to carry out his work with effectiveness. 17

Message From Branch Church Pastor Michael Mitchell FMCOG, London, England It is with great joy and happiness that I greet you all. I am extremely proud to be a member of the Faith Mission Church of God and I congratulate us on our 41st Annual National Convention. The theme ‘Lord Give Me A Double Portion’ is fitting for the times and seasons we are living in today. We all need a double portion to face the many challenges of this time and to cause damage in the kingdom of darkness and to win souls for Christ. May the Lord fulfil our desires because there is much to be done in our own lives, families, communities and in the vineyard. It is my prayer that during these four days of Convocation, that we will experience a mighty move of God and great fellowship. 18
