From the I/C Principal’s Desk It is rightly said, “To double your gains, you must triple your efforts”. Constant efforts serve as a reliable reminder to attend success. It encourages a person to unleash the untapped levels of effort that will surely bring the success coming our way. The statement stands true for the academic year as the team efforts were successful in the form of various achievements. Permanent affiliation of the college by inclusion in Sec 2(B) and 12(f) of UGC Act was the successful outcome of the team efforts. Certain events like one week Yoga Training for staff and students, celebration of Digital India week, literary activities, white revolution by Rotaract Club of Bharat College along with various community outreach activities proved really marvelous and were appreciated by all the stakeholders. Overall Plantomania, i.e. exhibition-cum-sale of nursery plants is an activity involving local residents as visitors and they applauded the activity. A green message passed on through this grand event, supported by media sensitised us to become active partners for sustainable environment. Thanks to everyone including Management, staff and students for their all-time support and backing this vibrant year fruitful with lots of enthusiastic activities. Thank you all! - Dr. Neetu Kapoor I/C Principal Editorial

As the world is moving towards digitalization, even the education system is witnessing paradigm shift in its approach. Student-centric approach is the buzzword of the day. Overall process of learning is aimed at developing a learner who can compete at the global level. But in this wave of technical development, it is also imperative to take care of environment and ensure that our values are transmitted from one generation to another. A step towards humanity has become necessary to ensure the sustenance of the healthy development. The current magazine showcases all such activities academic and others that are undertaken to develop healthy and progressive students that can prove their worth in future by becoming fruitful citizens of the nation. It is the mirror replicating the non- stop efforts taken by various committees to make the entire exercise useful by achieving the above spelled objective. I take this opportunity to thank the Management, I/C Principal and all my team members including the students for making this dream materialize in the form of new issue of Darpan. My words cannot be complete without expressing my sincere gratitude to all the other colleges’ staff and principals whose constant feedback enables the improvisation of this annual work. Hope the same process will be continued in the future also. Thank you one and all Happy Reading -- Savita Punjabi
