Win a little now, hold your ground, and later win a little more.\" As the old saying goes, one must not give up; keep fighting till the end. Likewise, only when somebody pursues victory tirelessly, they stand to win at some point in their lives.

ANNUAL SPORTS DAY 24th DECEMBER,2022 It was the 24th day of December when Vishwa Bharati Public School, Ghaziabad celebrated its Annual Sports Day, 'PRAVAH- The Flow Of Victory'. In our Annual sports day we celebrated cultural diversity with successful rise of Indian sports on international platform, which was a befitting tribute to our motherland. In Olympics, Paralympics, Commonwealth and Asian games, Indian athletes from different states and culture made the nation proud by achieving accolades and awards in the recent past years. ‘Pravah- the Flow Of Victory’ also celebrated the triumph of Indian athletes in these events with cultural vibrancies of their states and nurtured the feeling of unity in diversity. It was our proud privilege that the occasion was graced by the presence of honourable General Secretary of Vishwa Bharati Womens Welfare Institution, Dr.V.K. Ganju. We were also honoured to had eminent sports personalities, Shri Braj Bhan Sharma and Shri Likhi Ram Chaudhary as our chief guests on the day. The students of Vishwa Bharati showcased their talent through fun and frolic activities and athletic games. They also reached every corner of the country and touched all the edges with their glorious dance performances. Our shining stars who made us proud and touched the height of success in state and national level were also felicitated during the event. The event also had races for parents, teachers and helpers. Best house award was given to Sundaram house for their outstanding performance and securing maximum medals on the day. The energy flowed in the veins of our students and all present there made this event a grand success and was enjoyed by all.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY 14th OCTOBER,2022 The investiture ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigned in the newly invested office bearers of all the four houses : Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram and Vishwa. Donning the mantle of accountability, the office bearers also took pledge to best of their duties to the best of their abilities. We believe that the child centric approach will frame a responsible citizen. The ceremony was held on 14th October with lots of zeal and zest. SHRI S.N .GANJU MEMORIAL INTERSCHOOL ENGLISH DEBATE COMPETITION 19th NOVEMBER,2022 Vishwa Bharati Public School, Ghaziabad organised the prestigious Shri S.N.Ganju Memorial Interschool English Debate Competition on 19th November 2022 in the fond memory of erstwhile General Secretary of our school Shri S.N.Ganju.The topic of the debate was\"Children should be banned using Social Networking Sites\". It was our great honour that Dr. V.K.Ganju, son of Shri S. N.Ganju graced the occasion by his esteemed presence.He motivated the young debators and presented the awards to all the winners of the debate. We received overwhelming response from various reputed schools of Delhi, NCR. The young debators stunned the audience by expressing their thoughts and opinions with their logical arguments. Our own students performed very well in it too.

DIWALI SPECIAL ASSEMBLY 21st OCTOBER,2022 “The greatest significance of Diwali is to light up new, bright and colourful dreams, fresh hopes and undiscovered ways.” The exhilaration and celebratory spirit that Diwali brings is unmatchable. To add to the festive fervour, our Vishwa bhartians presented a special assembly on Diwali on 21st October’22. The assembly started with the Morning Prayer and followed by a short skit in which students dressed up as various characters from the Ramayan and depicted Lord Ram's return to Ayodhya after vanquishing Ravan in a battle. A short poem was also recited to emphasize on the need to celebrate a peaceful and green Diwali and to save Earth from excessive noise and air pollution. The assembly came to a close with a traditional Diwali dance performed on a devotional song dedicated to Lord Ram. The dance performed in colourful costumes and set to live, foot tapping music, highlighted the festivity and good cheer of the festival.

GURU NANAK JAYANTI 7th NOVEMBER,2022 To observe the auspicious occasion Guru Nanak Jayanti, students of class 2 presented a special assembly on 7th November ’2022. The students presented short speech on Guru Nanak Dev ji .They also explained the essence of the day. Assembly commenced with Morning Prayer and at last a short motivational story was told by the class teacher to instill values among learners. The students performed with great fervour, devotion and enthusiasm.

CHRISTMAS DAY CELEBRATION 23rd DECEMBER, 2022 This year on 23rd December, the students of class 6 has organized a special assembly to celebrate Christmas. The celebration was held in our school auditorium. The entire auditorium was beautifully decorated with flowers, bells and little santas. All the students were very excited and full of enthusiasm for the celebration. The ceremony began with prayer. After that, various programmes were organized one after the other. One of which was a performance where a group of class 6 students presented a beautiful dance on the theme of Christmas. After that, one student gave a detailed speech on why we celebrate Christmas. After all the programmes were over, the class teacher came on stage and wished everyone Merry Christmas she also gave a short motivational speech.

Orange Day 14th OCTOBER, 2022 FUNKY ORANGES The lively and cheerful Blossoms kids put up a great show. The children enjoyed a lot and it was indeed a pleasure to witness little ones dressed up in orange bubbling with energy and fascination in Vishwa Baharti Public School, Ghaziabad on 14.10.22. In a nutshell, the purpose of this activity was fulfilled with each and every child emitting enthusiasm, vigour and zest.

SPEAK YOUR HEART (14th OCTOBER,2022) Show and tell activity sets the stage for children to become comfortable while speaking in public. Show and tell activity was organized on 14.10.22 for LKG and SKG students. It boosts self-esteem, helps develop confidence, sharpens speaking and other social skills. It even helps develop listening skills for those in the audience. In this activity students display an item and then explain its significance to their teacher and classmates. The objective of the activity was to improve oral communication skill and to motivate those learners who feel shy in expressing themselves.

FANCY DRESS COMPETITION 14 NOVEMBER, 2022 Children's day was celebrated at Vishwa Bharati Public School on 14th November 2022. The day began with the morning assembly. Teachers enlightened the students about Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and the importance of children's day. A fancy dress competition for classes Blossoms to SKG was held in which all students had participated. The children looked very sweet and innocent in their colourful costumes and there was excitement amongst the children.

BABY SHOW 14th NOVEMBER, 2022 A Grand Baby show was organized by Vishwa Bharati Public School, Ghaziabad. Which turned out to be a mega success. The Grand gala event was held on 14th November, 2022. The entire event folded with a number of talent hunts for the toddlers . Ramp walk, charming personality and dance for the kids .The Age group covered in the entire event was from 2-4 years. It was a day of Endless laughter, fun and overloaded cuteness.



CREATIVE MINDS 16th DECEMBER,2022 Storytelling activities are a great way to allow students to express themselves freely and creatively in an authentic and real way. Stories can be a very versatile and powerful teaching tool. Stories are fun and motivational. Storytelling activity was organized on 16 .12.22 .We want our students to talk about a variety of stories, convey their thoughts and ideas, all of which we are grooming them .

JINGLE BELLS 20th DECEMBER,2022 “������������ ������������ ������������������������������������������������������ ������������������������������ ������������������������ ������������������ ������������������ ������������������ ������������������������ ������������������������������������ ������������������������������������������ ������������������. ������������������������������ ������������������������������������������������������!”. Christmas is for happiness, for giving and sharing, for laughter, for coming together with family and friends. It was surely a Merry Christmas for all . The school wore festive look with bells, lights and a huge Christmas tree. Learners of grade Blossoms to SKG presented a special assembly on 20.12.22. Christmas brings cheer and love and we celebrated it with the same fervour, spreading the message of love and joy among our children. Our KG angels danced to joyful tunes followed by Christmas skit (Nativity play). Christmas carols were presented by our students to display festivity and joy.

POSTER MAKING ON GANDHI JAYANTI 14th OCTOBER,2022 \"Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever\"– MAHATMA GANDHI On 2nd October Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated each year to commemorate the birth anniversary of the man who led the fight for freedom with ‘ non voilence’. Mahatma Gandhi or more lovingly known as Bapu by all Indians is internationally acknowledged for his doctrine of non-violence that led to India to its glorious freedom. Our School organised a poster making activitiy to observe Gandhi’s ideologies once again. All our students were imbued with Gandhian values and thoughts and vowed to become berths citizens of India and this World.

POSTER MAKING ON DIWALI 14th OCTOBER 2022 Diwali festival is one of the most celebrated festival in India that embodies joy and happiness. To impress upon the children, the importance of their contribution towards reducing pollution by not bursting harmful fire crackers during Diwali celebrations, a poster making activity was conducted on the topic ‘Safe and Green Diwali’ on 14th Oct’2022 for the students of the class 6. The creative strokes and the ignited minds of these young environmentalists painted and collated beautiful and thought provoking posters and created a perfect setting for the forthcoming festival season and reinforced the idea of celebrating a safe, green and pollution free Diwali.

SSHHLLOOKKAA RREECCIITTAATTIIOONN 1144tthh OOCCTTOOBBEERR,, 22002222 With the motto of promoting the teaching & learning of Sanskrit, Shloka recitation activity was organized for the classes of 7th and 8th on 14th Nov, 2022. The students participated wholeheartedly in the activity. They showcased their oratory skills by reciting shlokas from Durga Saptashati with great confidence. Their performance was appreciated by teachers and their peers. The activity encouraged linguistic creativity & provided an opportunity to benefit from the systemic structure of Sanskrit language giving insights into linguistic relationship of Sanskrit with all language learning.

PUPPET MAKING ACTIVITY 17th OCTOBER,2022 Puppets can say things that humans can’t. The students of Class 5 were engaged in a very creative ‘Puppet Making Activity’. The activity aimed at designing small puppets to tell a story. Under the guidance of their teachers, students presented innovative and unique puppets. This activity helped in develop visual and kinesthetic abilities of the students through an ancient art form. Students enjoyed the activity and learnt about a new art form and its significance.

DIYA,CANDLE DECORATION ACTIVITY 17th OCTOBER,2022 The light of illuminating diyas lead us on the way of success and the beauty of Deepawali fills our homes with happiness. The school organised a diya making activity for students of Class 2 on the occasion of Diwali. Students brought earthen diya’s and decorated them using paint, stones and mirrors. The Diya’s looked bright and colourful and students took pride in displaying their work. Every piece was decorated in a unique way .The kids also learnt about the significance of earthen lamps.

RANGOLI MAKING 17th OCTOBER , 2022 Brightening up the festivities and celebrations, 'Rangoli' is also believed to bring good fortune and add vibrant hues to the environment. Drawing inspiration from the same, class 4 students exhibited their flair in art by making beatific rangoli designs using geometric shapes and floral motifs using vibrant colours and other decorative items. Rangoli colours and flower petals were used to make variety of designs. The activity encouraged students to think and work creatively promoting artistic excellence. Students exuberantly participated in Rangoli Making activity which provided meaningful and enjoyable learning experience.

INTER-HOUSE RANGOLI COMPETITION 20th OCTOBER,2022 Rangoli is a fabulous hand drawing art, originating in the Indian subcontinent, in which patterns are created on the floor using materials such as colours, diyas, flower petals, glitters etc. It is a way to express imagination. The purpose of rangoli is decoration, and it is thought to bring good luck as well. Keeping this in mind, Inter- House Rangoli making competition was organized on 20th October, 2022 in school premises, for the students of all the four houses. The theme for the same was ‘sprinkle of joy’. Children put in lots of efforts and came up with amazing ideas. They used colours, diyas, flowers glitters and other decorative material to beautify their rangolis. All the houses participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The first position was bagged by Shivam house, second position by Sundaram house, and third position was secured by Satyam house in Rangoli making competition.

7th INDIA WATER WEEK 1st NOVEMBER,2022 Vishwa Bharati, Ghaziabad celebrated 7th Water week with its students which was based on the theme of Water security for Sustainable development with equity.

PLANTATION ACTIVITY 11th NOVEMBER,2022 A very auspicious tree plantation act ivity was done in our school by the students of classes 2nd &3rd to create an awareness regarding climate change and its adverse effect on us. Children planted many flowers especially tulsi and neem tree as it contains medicinal properties. The teacher told the students about the benefits of planting trees, how it helps cleaning the environment and uses of medicinal plants. We as a school, pledged to plant as many trees as possible near our areas so as to create a very healthy environment and contribute in minimizing the climatic changes. It was a fun activity aimed at creating awareness on importance of plants.



FANCY DRESS COMPETITION 14th NOVEMBER ,2022 “The most beautiful world is always entered through imagination.”- Helen Keller To enhance creativity, imagination and build confidence; a Fancy Dress activity was conducted for the students of class 4. The students participated in huge numbers and showcased their versatility. The teacher transformed their students into the skin of freedom fighters and national leaders. The children dressed as freedom fighters and national leaders were brilliant in their own way. They were all smartly dressed up and took part with much enthusiasm. The students presented themselves by sharing information about the characters they depicted. The students also enjoyed coming dressed as Freedom fighters of India and taking part in the activity. They all looked vibrant in their colourful and different costumes and played their parts confidently. The students were given an opportunity to speak in front of others and bring forth their talents.

WOMEN HYGIENE WORKSHOP 18th NOVEMBER ,2022 On 18th November 2022 the Kailash Group of Hospitals organised a Health Talk Workshop on the Awareness of Adolescence Health and Hygiene at Vishwa Bharati Public School, Ghaziabad. The workshop was facilitated by Dr Manisha Saxena (MBBS, DGO, MRCOG) for the girls of classes 6th to 8th and their mothers. As a doctor, she shared her topic in a very interesting and informative manner. She exclusively referred the importance of health care and maintaining hygiene in daily life of everyone and specially for womens. The programme envisions to enable the adolescence realise their full potential by making them informed and taking responsible decisions related to their health and well-being.

PLANETARIUM PROGRAME 25th NOVEMBER,2022 A planetarium is basically just a room that’s like a theatre but (mostly) shows astronomy content—sometimes other science— and also has a roughly hemispherical ceiling. On 25th November, 2022 we organised a planetarium programme for our students in the school premises a hemi-spherical tent was set up in the hall and all the classes visited there one by one. It was a very informative and interesting show as the students learnt many amazing facts about the various Galaxies in the Universe, along with all the planets of the Solar System. They also learned about the formation and death of stars, different Constellations and where they are found. It was a very informative and enjoyable experience for the kids as well as for the teachers.



SANTA CLAUS MAKING ACTIVITY 13th DECEMBER,2022 Christmas is for joy, for giving and sharing, for laughter, for coming together with family and friends.Santa Claus making activity was conducted in class 1. The children were told about the birth of Lord Jesus and the legend of Santa Claus. The spirit of giving and sharing was inculcated among the tiny tots. In the spirit of Christmas, students made Santa Clause doll using paper cuttings, cotton, googly eyes and other material easily available at home. Students enjoyed the activity very much and made beautiful Santa Claus doll for Christmas. The students were so patient throughout the activity and the outcome was appreciable.

SNOWMAN MAKING 16th DECEMBER,2022 The school wore a festive look with bells, streamers and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Several activities such as decorating Christmas Trees and Stockings, making Christmas Cards and Hand-crafted bells were organized for the students. The teacher organised a snowman making activity in class on 16th December, 2022. They decorated the snowman with cotton, wool, origami and colourful sheets etc. The activity was organised to give a cheerful start to the winter season. The children came up with colourful snowmen. The students enjoyed the activity very much.

CHRISTMAS CARD MAKING 16th DECEMBER,2022 To mark the festive occasion of New Year and Christmas, 'Greeting Card' making activity was conducted for students of Grades 3th & 4thI on 16th of Dec'22. Students were asked to design, draw, colour, paint or decorate the given greeting card using any materials brought by them and finish the work in a stipulated time frame. The cards were judged based on design, materials used, skill and presentation. The cards were decorated with various materials such as stickers, bindis, laces, beads, stars, glitter powders, sequences etc. Students used pop up card making technique to give the card 3D effect. The response for the event was overwhelming and each card was unique and beautiful showing the interest and creativity of each student. Even though 3 best cards from each class got prize, all the cards were displayed on the soft boards as a part of Christmas celebrations in school.

COOKING WITHOUT FIRE 19th DECEMBER,2022 To develop the skill of non- flame dishes, a weekly activity ‘Cooking without fire’ was organized in Classes 6th to 8th on 19th December, 2022. The aim of the activity was to provide a platform for students to showcase their talent and explore new areas of interest. It was conducted with a view to create awareness about the nutritional value of food cooked without fire. The students prepared healthy dishes like Sprouted Bhel, Fresh juice and fruit salad using easy and quick recipes. They served the dishes in an artistic and aesthetic way which was most appealing and the display were a visual treat tickling to the taste buds. The competition was conducted with a view to create awareness about the nutritional value of food cooked without flame , the necessity and advantages of healthy eating and to encourage students to stay away from the junk food.



CHRISTMAS TREE MAKING 21st DECEMBER,2022 We want to make Christmas as magical as possible for our students. Christmas tree decoration activity helps young children create part of the magic Christmas tree decoration is a fun activity that involved the students of grade 5 in colouring and decorating.
