Welcome IMPACT100 WESTCHESTER What a cycle this has been! Our 7th grant cycle found us in a completely changed landscape as COVID-19 spread across our community, affecting both our members and the Nonprofits that serve Westchester. Ordinarily, this is the time when we gather as a full membership and celebrate an amazing year filled with member participation and generosity. This year we cannot celebrate in person, but we can toast to an inspiring cycle in which over 80 percent of our membership voted to shift our grant giving and award 12 Core Mission Grants to our Nonprofit Community. These awards make a difference in the lives of so many Westchester residents, continuing our commitment to “Give Where You Live”. Our shift in giving allowed us to continue our goals of making stronger connections between our members and the Nonprofit community, providing greater support to our grantees at a time when the need was greater than ever. A heartfelt thank you for your hard work, participation, and dedication. Let’s toast together to many more years of CONNECTION EDUCATION TRANSFORMATION 3

Before you vote... WE ARE AWARDING 12 CORE MISSION GRANTS The award can be used in ANY MANNER that the Nonprofits feel is consistent with fulfilling their Core Mission. The use may not be innovative, but nevertheless vital to the survival of the organization. THOUGHTS TO CONSIDER • The Grant will raise awareness of this Organization • Individuals served are Westchester Residents • Programs(s) address needs in Westchester • Broad and /or deep impact for clients served • Will support the principles that guide the organization's vision, culture and overall philosophy. Particularly in this current environment, Impact100Westchester is proud to support Westchester Nonprofits. 4

NEW FOR THE 2020 GRANT CYCLE: $15,000 Focus Area Grant—Arts & Culture In addition to our Transformational and Core Mission Grants, this year we awarded a Focus Area Core Mission Grant of $15,000 to an Arts & Culture nonprofit organization serving Westchester. The Focus Area Grant was created to recognize the importance of supporting the core mission, the programs and services, of a specific category of Westchester nonprofits. Arts & Culture was selected for this cycle because local arts organizations enhance the lives of many Westchester residents and an NEWorganization in this focus area has not received a Transformational Grant from Impact100. ✦ 25 Arts & Culture nonprofits submitted applications ✦ A specific grant review committee used Impact100’s mission to evaluate the applicants ✦ F ive finalists were selected and presented to the full membership for a vote ✦ A web-based voting application allowed women to learn about the finalists and then cast their votes Thank you to the Finalists! IMPACT100 WESTCHESTER Our History The Impact100 model of women’s collective NEW giving originated in Cincinnati in 2001 when photos Wendy Steele mobilized her friends and business associates to promote collective philanthropy among women. She recruited 100 women to donate $1,000 each and, together, they funded a $100,000 Transformational Grant for a dental clinic for the homeless. To date, over $55 million has been awarded by Impact100 groups worldwide to fund local needs. Currently there are 52 Impact100 chapters including Australia and London! Impact100 Westchester was founded in 2012 by Sharon Salomy Douglas. Inspired by her college friend who was affiliated with Impact100 Philadelphia, Sharon's enthusiasm for bringing women's collective giving to Westchester was contagious. Before long, the first Impact100 Westchester grant cycle was underway with 132 members. In our 7th grant cycle, we have awarded over $1.8 million! As our membership grows, we increase our ability to support Westchester nonprofits and achieve significant change in our communities. 8
