Sacred Heart Of Jesus Sagrado Corazón de Jesús Month of June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus by Holy Mother Church as Month of May is dedicated to Mother Mary. It always falls on a Friday and this month it is on the 24th June Friday. It is, one of the most popular Catholic devotions. Devotion to the sacred Heart of Jesus has been practicing for centuries. This devotion developed out of the devotion to the Holy wounds, especially to the sacred wound in the side of Jesus. In every language, in every age, the Heart is regarded as the natural symbol of love and affection. Jesus Himself revealed to St. Margaret Mary the importance of devotion to Sacred Heart. Also, the devotion to the Divine Mercy, given to St. Faustina Kowalska in 1931, is a broaded devotion to the Sacred Heart. In our age of religious indifference, when fervor and charity have grown cold, Jesus exhibits to the world His Sacred Heart as the symbol of God’s infinite love – the symbol of His own generous self-sacrificing love for men. The two elements of Devotion to the Sacred Heart – Consecration & Reparation. We consecrate ourselves to the Sacred Heart by acknowledging Him as Creator and Redeemer and as having full rights over us as King of Kings, by repenting and by resolving to serve Him. Reparation - we ask sorry for the indifference and ingratitude towards Him. The following are the 12 promises Jesus revealed to Saint Margaret Mary for those who consecrate themselves and make reparations to His Sacred Heart: 1. I will give them all the graces necessary for their state of life. 2. I will give peace in their families. 3. I will console them in all their troubles. 4. I will be their refuge in life and especially in death. 5. I will abundantly bless all their undertakings. 6. Sinners shall find in my Heart the source and infinite ocean of mercy. 7. Lukewarm souls shall become fervent. 8. Fervent souls shall rise speedily to great perfection. 9. I will bless those places wherein the image of my Sacred Heart shall be exposed and venerated. 10. I will give to priests the power to touch the most hardened hearts. 11. Persons who propagate this devotion shall have their names eternally written in my Heart. 12. In the excess of the mercy of my Heart, I promise you that my-all powerful love will grant to all those who will receive Communion on the First Fridays, for nine consecutive months the grace of final repentance: they will not die in my displeasure, nor without receiving the sacraments: and my Heart will be their secure refuge in that last hour. I believe, the above information is sufficient to know the importance of devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Fathers are special but they are less appreciated. Their love goes unnoticed Because they don’t express their feelings as mothers do. But every child knows how much their father loves him/her. A father in the family is like a pillar of a building that gives support to each and every corner of the building. Fathers are among those persons in life who influence us at a great level. They are less likely to express their love and feelings but father’s Day provides us with a chance to let our fathers apprehend that we know how much they love and care for us. Fathers are important. It is not a belief but a fact. A life without a father is full of struggles and problems. He is a person who gets us and the entire family rid of problems and we escape the struggles of life. Fathers are our true well-wishers. They always want us to see the path of progress and success. Father’s day is such an opportunity that comes with a sense of celebrating the presence of Father and his works in shaping up the life of the family.
