A Note from Your Managers Hello Towerpoint!! Happy Fall! We hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving and we’re looking forward to a great December and a Happy Holiday Season! The resort is heating up with a happy buzz in the air and we’re looking forward to another gorgeous AZ winter! The fun will continue as we welcome back more residents returning and welcome new residents to the community! We had a great November and I want to thank all of my fellow Veterans who came out to participate in the Honoring our Veterans Day Ceremony. A warm thank you to the Towerpoint team, the volunteers and all of those who have provided support over the years to the event or by showing your appreciation by attending and thanking Veterans! It was amazing to have approximately 65% of the audience stand when we recognized those who have served. We very much enjoyed the comradery and time together! As we drive the streets, we are so proud of all of the American and Canadian Flags flying! Recently we discovered amazing solar power lights that screw into the top of flag poles, this helps ensure that the light shines on all her beauty as she flies during evening hours! I’m not sure if everyone read our notes this summer, so we thought this would be a good time to share the great news that happened for Towerpoint again; Towerpoint received a perfect 10 rating from Good Sam’s for the first time ever!! The Towerpoint team continues to work our hardest at maintaining this honor and more and will continue to improve and provide a community to be proud of. We also want to express how much we appreciate all of your efforts as residents in doing the same in the pride you have for your home and this community, thank you! Another piece of great news is that the Cactus Grill has received an A Rating for the Bar and Grill areas! The Maricopa County Health Inspector noted that if we were in different program, we would have scored an A+!! She noted that it’s the cleanest and best organized bar and grille she has seen so far! Great job Cactus Grill, we are very proud of the team and the exceptional job that you are doing! December will bring resident’s home for the Holidays or bring visitors here; we wish you safe travels and want to remind everyone to help out the community by registering your guests. We’re looking forward to the Ugly sweater Party, Christmas Light Parade and the Ultimate Party kicking off the New Year together!! Please see the activities office for your tickets! To help celebrate the spirit of the season Mary Lindell and Deb Sangiovese have been hard at work organizing an Angel tree again this year for Emerson School and Mark’s Center. The tree will be out November 28th near the post office, with the return of items NLT December 9th, Mary and Deb with the Squires will drop off the items to help with a Happier Holiday Season for those who may not be able to enjoy one otherwise! The Holidays remind us to give thanks, and live in the spirit of cheer and giving and we want to thank everyone in ad- vance for all that you do for each other, our community and people in need to ensure the Happiest of Holiday seasons! We are thankful to be a part of Towerpoint and filled with Holiday Spirit and feel blessed that we get to feel this love and spirit on a regular basis in our community! A Note from Activities Hello Towerpoint! Each day spent at Towerpoint I am amazed at the kindness and welcoming arms of our residents! It already feels like I’ve known you for years. I cannot thank you enough for making me feel like part of the family so quickly. I am grateful that we are building a great team in Activities. Star Kempton, our new Assistant Activities Director, has fit right into our team. I am so thankful for her, Mary Lindell and all of our workampers who are critical parts of our Activities team. We look forward to lots of fun in December– an ugly sweater party & contest, Christmas Dinner with friends, and Christmas Light parade. This month we will go searching for stuffed piggys with a “This little piggy” hunt. We will close out the year with an Evening in Paris New Year’s Eve Party!
