*As we cruise into March and I reflect on the past 6 months at VDO, I realize how much fun I have had meeting all of you, planning parties and events, as well as working with an amazing team of bosses, co-workers, workampers, and volunteers! I know many of you plan on leaving at the end of this month so we have a fun filled month planned. We start off the month with the famous VDO Talent Show at 7:00 on March 2nd. There are so many wonderful acts by our talented residents, this is a must see! Speaking of talented residents, the annual Arts and Crafts Fair is Saturday the 5th. I am continually impressed by how creative everyone here is. The second week of March it is time to celebrate our wonderful volunteers at the Superheroes Appreciation party. Thank you all for everything that you do for VDO. We couldn’t do it without you. We end the week with the long anticipate Darci Lynn performance on March 11th and 12th. We will be sharing the exciting new Cal-Am concert series after the shows! March is probably most famous for St. Paddy’s Day so let’s party with .25 beer and wine, corned beef and cabbage, carrots and potatoes. If you don’t care to eat Irish, fish and chips will also be available. The Pinewood Derby, the Quilt show and drive-in movie are sure to be exciting events to keep you entertained. We will end the month with a Hawaiian Luau complete with hula dancers and a fire show, music, dancing, and fun to be had by all. I look forward to celebrating March with all of you! *May your pockets be heavy and your heart be light and good luck pursue you morning and night* Traci Anderson Activities Director Welcome from Valle del Oro Resort Sales Team!
