Ho, Ho, Ho…Welcome Everyone! December is here, and with it comes lots of fun and Fa La La as we Deck the Halls. Santa Clause is Coming to Town this month, bringing Joy to the World! It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas here at Far Horizons, as our elves are busy getting things ready for lots of fun, making sure that you Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas! While your friends may be having a White Christmas in the northern, Winter Wonderland regions of the country, here in Arizona, you are certainly not having a Blue Christmas as you work on your tan! So, check out all our fun activities and events, and if you hear the sound of Jingle Bells in the air, Oh Come, All Ye Faithful and join in! Or stay in and be cozy as you enjoy a Silent Night. Whatever you decide, Have a Holly, Jolly Christmas! Bill & Diann Noles, Resort Managers Hello Everyone, It is that time of the year where everything around us start to look more jolly and magical. The Christmas lights are out and up, the songs sound a familiar holiday tune, and the stores fill up with crowds hurrying to find that perfect gift for a family member or a friend. When I was a child, I remember, it had been my favorite time of the year for so many reasons. December meant that St. Nicolas (the Ukrainian version of Santa) would be arriving in the middle of the night to place gifts under our pillows, and then I would wake up next morning not only to the gift under my pillow but also other gifts since it was my birthday. Oh what a happy child I was! Then I would wait or a magical snow to cover the ground so I could finally get my old sled, skis and figure skates out of the closet. I was also in charge of decorating our Christmas tree. Perhaps these few words have brought some memories of yours. This season may we be reminded of wonderful and happy moments of our life, and so many more to come. Let us enjoy every moment.
