Born out of Elizabeth’s desire to inspire, support and honourthose who seek awareness of self and a deeper sense of inner peace.All of our mala beads are handcrafted in the foothills of the Himalayasby talented Indian artisans. Every piece is made using the highest quality gemstones and sacred beads, all of which are ethically sourced.Every piece is designed to remind, support or guide the wearer on their ownpersonal path of growth and happiness. Some are blessed with their ownhealing intention, others are symbolic of a particular life lesson or higher wisdom which has influenced its creation.

THE STORY BEHIND OUR MALA MAKERS 7All of our malas are handcrafted in the holy city of Rishikesh, which sits in thefoothills of the Himalayas. Known as the yoga and meditation capital of the world,it’s a place of spiritual seekers, holy men, ashrams and the sound of temple bells.Our mindful approach to business sees us working with an ethical supplierwho’s ethos is inline with our own, employing talented female artisans who areoften living on the poverty line. Many have families that are in desperate needof support. These wonderful ladies are paid a good wage to craft our beautifulmalasand this employment enables them to support themselves and their families.All of our malas are blessed in Rishikesh using traditional rituals prior to beingsent to us. Every purchase of an Elizabeth Caroline Mala helps us play a small partin empowering our mala makers as well as eradicating poverty in northern India.
