PRINCIPAL’S DESK Vice Principal Advice to the Prefect Council A dream doesn’t become a reality through magic. It takes sweat, determination and smart work. Yes, it's a belief endorsed by our principal Mrs. Sunir Nagi. She has always been our source of inspiration and motivation. Leaders are the role models who inspire their followers and motivate them to reach the target of success. As a leader you have the whole platter in front of you. You have the plethora of strength but you need to set your priorities. You need to choose wisely not just for yourself, not only for the people you are working with but for the people who surrounds you, those who give you strength, who bless you, well-wishers and also the ones who criticize you. You need to work with everyone. You as leaders cannot say that I cannot work with some or I want to work with some people only, you have to carry everyone together as a team. You have to choose wisely because if you fall your team falls. If you falter your team will falter. Pallavi Model School has always been inspired by the vision of its founder, that every child who comes to this knowledge are, must be a person filled with fear of God, respect for the elders, respecting the rules and regulations of this educational portal, Love and reverence to the parents, and love for the nation. The students are the torch bearers of tomorrow, therefore nurturing them and fostering in them a sense of self respect, self-discipline, the capacity to enjoy life as Independent self-motivated and the willingness to care for others are extremely pertinent. Delegation of responsibility and giving authority to children is important as it teaches them lifelong skills of being powerful, caring and at the same time making them good citizens, foreseeing the Welfare of the stu- dent’s future and to train them in leadership skills. I would like to mention that the aspirants of the Student Council have gone through a real grilling process. The student Council was selected after a rigorous and democratic process in which the students have gone through many steps to get selected for the much coveted student Council body in the solemn cere- mony. The new body of leaders swearing-in will be a gracious moment for the gathering to witness the emerging leaders This is definitely one of the most significant events of our school and also a defining moment in the student leader’s life too. As new prefects get ready to be invested, dignitaries, our HR, dear parents, teachers and students, I welcome you all to witness this first and great event of investiture ceremony of our school during the start of this academic year 2022-23. Investiture means investing your responsibility in a person, and today as the Vice-principal of Pallavi Model School, Alwal I have invested my responsibility, my confidence, my assurance, my good luck, and my prayers to all these young leaders who will take the leap forward and will bring all success to the school. Thank you and God Bless. Before you are a leader, success is all about growing yourself. When you become a leader, success is all about growing others. —Jack Welch If you are planning for a year, sow rice; if you are planning for a decade, plant trees; if you are planning for a lifetime, educate people. - Chinese Proverb

It was a grand show with more than 100 art works on display. The students from Grades 5 to 9 portrayed their creativity and talents through the medium of art. Art integration differs from traditional education by its inclusion of both the arts discipline and a traditional subject as a part of learning. The goal of art integration is to increase knowledge of a general subject area while concurrently fostering a greater understanding and appreciation of the arts. Students engage in a creative process which connects art and another subject and meets evolving objectives in both. The art exhibition was inaugurated by the Principal, Ms Sunir Nagi and was accompanied by our vice principal, head mistresses and team of all HODs and Coordinators. The inauguration ceremony was commemorated at 9.30am which involved reciting of holy prayer, classical dance, and ribbon cutting.
