Matches took place till noon and first leg playoff was between 1st and defending champions 4th year & 3rd and 2nd year respectably. Two matches were played before the knockouts and 2nd and 3rd year qualified for the finals. Cricket: the gentleman’s game Cricket matches were scheduled late in the noon and the fixture was: 1st vs. 2nd year on day 3 3rd vs. 4th year on day 4 Each team played well but ultimately 4th year took over the 1st year and were entitled as champions. That was all for the 2014 edition of Animus. We, as the Magazine Committee do hope that you enjoyed reading this Magazine as much as we enjoyed making it. The entire process was an exhilirating experience involving hours of hardwork, exquisite ideas, and most of all, immense creativity. In the entire journey of making this magazine, along with the Magazine Team, the entire family of UIIT was involved too. This magazine wouldn’t have been possible without the unending efforts of people like our esteemed Director, our very helpful and guiding faculty, and also our entire student body; who put in the best of their creativity in each and every submission that they made, be it literature, photography, art, or even some amazing ideas that were discussed during the inception of this issue. That is why it’s important to say a word of thanks to each and every person who in some way, was involved in the making of this magazine. We thank you all. Rohitas Singh on behalf of the Magazine Committee, 2015
