ABOUT THE WRITER Gia fell down the rabbit hole of advertising after trying an impulse marketing internship in a news publication. A month before obtaining their Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. They found the craft much more exciting than news writing. Three months after graduation, they landed their first job as a content manager for 1DMG, an independent digital advertising agency based in Manila. In 2020, they applied and got accepted to work as a freelance social media specialist, producer, and virtual assistant for KMG Advertising, a Florida-based company specializing in real estate and mortgage advertising. As well as producing TV shows, podcasts, and other social media content. Aside from managing two jobs in the ad world, Gia pursues their interest in video games while honoring her roots as a journalist by writing news about video games for Geeky.PH; the tech, video games, and culture arm of The Philippine Star, one of the country’s major newspapers.

SCOPE OF WORK Develop timely, engaging, creative, innovative content. Design and implement platform-specific marketing strategies that align with overall business goals Create and/or curate all social content; including copy for captions and execution details (image and video) Manage editing, approval, and scheduling of all posts for all platforms. Build out a social media content publishing calendar for campaigns.
