RESPECT RESPONSIBILITY RESILIENCE 2022/2023·Concludes With one step, the journey of the 2022/2023 academic session began in September 2022. At that time, it looked like a long drawn-out battle against time, an almost improbable goal. In these last days of June 2023, however, that improbable goal has been attained! Our students have now completed their final exams, and 2022/2023 session concludes! Congratulations to the class of 2022/ 2023! Congratulations too for your astounding performances in the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT)! We are particularly pleased about how our Ontario partners have celebrated your OSSLT success, noting that you passed, and with quite high scores! This is a testament to your excellent skills as well as the excellent skills of your teachers! As the OSSD class of 2022/2023 prepare to leave us, we wish them unmatched success in the next step of their academic journey. Mr Timothy Hyua HOD, OSSD
STUDENTS BEGIN THEIR WORK EXPERIENCE PROGRAMME
STEVE JOBS ONCE SAID “THE ONLY WAY TO DO GREAT WORK IS TO LOVE WHAT YOU DO.\" If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.” The long awaited and ‘most talked about internship programme’ finally began on the 19th June, 2023 immediately after the students completed their final exams. This programme provides students with a great way to learn and expand their knowledge within an industry. We understand that it’s not always going to be easy- anything that is meant to teach you is going to require flexibility, growth, and stretching. It’s not always fun, but it is always beneficial. The beautiful news about this programme is that our students are making positive impacts in their respective organisations. We have been privileged to visit the students in the last few days to evaluate the impacts they are making and we are quite impressed by the quality of feedback from their respective industry based supervisors. The students too have shared their excitements about the experience they have gained in their respective places of internship. We wish them well.
