He is also developing a network of STEAM learning centers specifically for Indian Reservations that will bring education opportunities and economic development opportunities to Indian youth nationwide.

INTERPRETIVE MUSEUMS, HERITAGE CENTERS AND RELATED Pat develops museums that interpret a wide array of subjects for very diverse audiences. He also develops financially self-sustaining interpretive organizations by awarding grants to allow existing museums or new facilities to compete in modern times. Pat works closely with Boards of Directors and Directors from fund raising through the grand opening and continues to work with clients through annual operational reviews to ensure the organization remains financially self-sustaining.

TODAY For the last 20 years, interpretive centers have had an annual decline in visitation and the next 20 years will see an escalation in the decline. The reason is simple; advances in technology have changed visitor expectations and interpretive institutions cannot keep up financially with technology changes. Baby Boomers grew up with museums designed as most are today, so there is still support from this generation. However, age is slowly taking that support away. As support declines, so does the ability to pay the operating costs necessary to keep the doors open. Pat started a new program that provides grants to nonprofit interpretive centers to help them become financially self sustaining. This is done by expanding education programming, developing workforce development programs, developing economic development programs, and designing exhibits and other interpretive elements to attract funding and younger visitors back to museums and related organizations. Pat assists with fund- raising on both the local and national level. Utilizing a variety of methodologies, including programming that attracts funding, Pat has been instrumental in reinventing existing or developing new projects.
