‘THE AMBA COMMUNITY DREAM AS BIG AS WE DO... THEY DARE TO ARRIVE AND DELIVER WHATEVER THE ODDS... THEY DEFY ALL PARAMETERS OF LEARNING IN EXISTENCE TODAY AND ACHIEVE BEYOND ANYONE'S COMPREHENSION...’AMBA DOES A LOT MORE THAN PROVIDE EMPLOYMENT. AMBA IS A WAY OF LIFE. Let’s together, “EMPOWER AN EVOLUTION”

AMBA FOR LIFE

We believe! Finding a way without any bench marks to follow, has been hugely challenging, but with every stepthat we have taken, our understanding has improved and we truly understand now what it means when onesays ‘May the road rise to meet you!’ We feel privileged to have evolved from an ‘Idea’ to bringing Alternate Learning Leading toEmployment in an indirect mainstream environment within our ACPC (AMBA Certified Partner Centres)environments. None of this could have happened without the amazing contribution and training done bythe 113 Peer Trainers at the ACC (AMBA CORE CENTRE) who showed us how ICT (Information andCommunication Technologies) can be maximised to monitor excellence in Training, Simulation andWork. We reach out to the Corporate World to help AMBA build and develop business to match the scaleof training within ACPCs as below: • Customer Application Interface data entry, Audit and Receipt Printing leading to online dispatch • Back end processes for Camera based Artificial Intelligence Solutions. • Camera Based Emission Testing data entry of moving objects, e.g. vehicles on the highway, urban and rural motorways for the State Departments of the Home Ministry. ANNUAL REPORT 2017 - 2018A MOVEMENT WITH A DIFFERENCE...POSSIBILITY OF GLOBAL SCALE:*SANS CHALLENGES WITH LANGUAGES…*ABILITITIES-COMPLETELY VISUAL! Since 2015 we have shared with 475 ACPCs, addressing 8000 beneficiaries, in 25 states in India. 80% in Rural India where bringing employment in general is challenging. 37% of our work force are women. Each AMBA Partner Centre starts with 20 adults with moderate to severe Intellectual Disability (IQ < 65) and in just three to five years can scale up to 100 to 150 adults at each ACPC. We went through a huge disrupt with work post Global automation in September 2015, but we have picked ourselves up and are heading towards partial sustainability with work to all the 475 ACPCs across India, in different stages of training, in the next 3-5 years, impacting over 8000 families. We will continue to scale Training and share the AMBA Concept post ensuring the above, pan India. Seeking advice to enable scale Globally as a Commercial Model.

[The data is based on 10+ years of research and development by AMBAacross India, no exact census data available as on day with Government or any other organization]• Intellectual Disability is a developmental disorder with extremely delayed milestones and very lowcognitiveability. The challenge manifests in impaired ability to reason or recall, behavioral problemsespecially post puberty and very often results in all the associated challenges such as physical disability, seizures, speech and visual challenges.• The disability is seldom genetic, and for this reason it remains largely 'invisible' as appearancesrarelyshow the disability. Most importantly they do not have the social skills to go out and work withinMainstream jobs.• The intellectually challenged community is the most marginalized section of society in India.Mostgovernment schools accept and patronize this community up until the age of 14, following which theyare entertained, if the family can afford it, through non-earning vocational practices only until Puberty• Persons with intellectual disability needs alternative methods of training and employment fortheirlivelihoods.• Lack or less number of special educators and organizations are working on livelihoods of personswithintellectual disability.
