We are so delighted to see our Kindergartners after a long passage of time. Laughter and giggles are what we have been waiting for to hear in our classrooms and courtyards. Our early years programme at MVN is designed to provide the foundation for future academic, social and emotional well-being of every child. The curriculum features the activities designed for the development of both gross and fine motor skills. We celebrate individual uniqueness and encourage self-expression and exploration through a plethora of class room sessions and activities. We believe in embracing our Kindergartners through learning and play.

FESTIVALS AND CELEBRATIONS

We believe in learning, encouraging responsibility and celebrating diversity. Celebrating festivals is an integral part of our curriculum. It is great way to understand the rich heritage of India and learn the importance of various festivals ,further inculcating sensitivity and togetherness amongst the little hearts. Such beliefs and values allow the child to bloom, blossom and thrive, giving the right platform where they will work to become a responsible citizen.

We aim to inculcate the values and ethos of every culture & tradition. To make our tiny tots aware of the spring harvest festival, theme based activity was planned where kindergarteners enjoyed colouring the DHOL and decorated the sheet in their own creative way with studs and stickers.

We strive to imbibe the spirit of secularism in our little hearts by celebrating all the festivals and celebrating the joy of diverse India. EID was also celebrated with same fervour, gusto and love in MVN Kindergarten. Our little kindergarteners made EID Cards for their friends and families by highlighting the night sky further spreading the message of sacrifice, peace, charity and benevolence. Children were told about the significance of fasting during the month of Ramadan.

EARTH DAY 22nd APRIL The Earth is what we all have in common.\" —Wendell Berry Earth Day was celebrated to re-dedicate our efforts towards improving and looking after \"Mother Nature\". Children were introduced to the concept of 3 R’s - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. The tiny tots learnt the importance of preservation of Eco System as a whole, especially maintaining clean surroundings and plantation of trees. They pledged to keep the environment Clean and Green. The students created beautiful painting of the Mother Earth in her various Moods and Colors.

MOTHER’S DAY \"God could not be everywhere, and therefore he made mothers.” Embracing the most special person in our lives, our tiny tots expressed their love and gratitude towards their mothers by embellishing beautiful cards and photo frames signifying their unconditional love. The kids made the hand crafted masterpiece with great love and affection. They were full of excitement thinking how their mothers would feel . The teachers also made the kids learn the rhyme 'I love my Mommy.........’ which they dedicated to their Moms on Mother's Day . They also served a sumptuous breakfast for their mother to make them feel special on that day.

Kindergarten Day is celebrated on 21st April of every year. This day honours the birthday of Friedrich Wilhelm August Froebel ,who started the first kindergarten in Germany. The word Kindergarten means – “Garden of Children”. To celebrate this day,the classes were allotted different colour codes and the children came dressed up as per their class colour. Children learn best when they are playing and it is through this they learnt about Primary and Secondary Colours. They enjoyed playing various indoor games and had fun learning new action songs and rhymes !

Children are naturally creative. It is our job to give them the freedom, the materials and space to let their creativity blossom to its full potential. Arts and craft activities helps instill a sense of achievement and pride in children, boosting their self-confidence. Craft activities foster communication, listening, attention, and imagination. These activities help to enhance kids hand eye co-ordination and improve manual dexterity. Working with varied material teaches them about colours, shapes and textures.

Physical education teaches how to acquire ability to develop strength, speed, endurance and coordination abilities. It also emphasizes on achieving social qualities, such as empathy, cooperation, friendliness, team spirit, and respect for rules, which are essential for healthy social relations with others. Sports are the integral part of Curriculum at MVN Kindergarten, Aravali Hills ⚽ ⚽⚽ ⚽⚽ ⚽ We have array of activities from Dodgeball to Fire on the Mountain and many more, that helps in the development of motor skills and instills a healthy team spirit in our tiny tots.

Music and Dance helps the body and the mind work together. Exposing children to music during early development helps them learn the sounds and meanings of words. Dancing to music helps children build motor skills while allowing them to practice self-expression. For children and adults, music helps strengthen memory skills.

Show and Tell- SPEAK ON SESSION My Favourite Animal Communication is the back bone of any society. ‘Show and tell’ is an important part of children’s learning and development, as it helps them to organize information and builds their confidence. Keeping this in mind, a ‘Show and Tell Activity’ was organized. Show and Tell sessions encourage children to listen, follow directions, build confidence and improve communication skills. Little kindergarteners spoke confidently on the topic 'My Favourite Animal' using facial expressions and voice modulation. The beautiful props of animals carried by kids to highlight their topic was like cherry on the cake.

Games are essential for Healthy development in early childhood and beyond... Kindergarteners were thrilled as they participated in array of games like Zig Zag fun, Ring Toss, Paste the Elephant Tail, Feed the Shark, Book Balancing, Musical Chairs, Ball in the cone with great zest and zeal. They also performed Aerobics which was well coordinated and energetic. Our objective is to encourage children to remain active, fit and healthy. The best part was that each class had something different to demonstrate... Children looked adorable, dressed up in summer cool attire. The day ended with a class party where children enjoyed their favourite eatables and drinks It was indeed a fun filled day full of colour, enthusiasm and exuberance..
