Dear Parent Greetings from MVN! Hope you are fine and taking care of your family's health and well being. The world has come to a grinding halt! The biggest challenge of our times has been defined by coronavirus pandemic. Keeping in view the present scenario, we at MVN are fully committed to motivate, inspire and support our young learners. Our educators are putting their best efforts to ensure effective teaching and learning by assisting the students with online classrooms, assignments on daily basis, easy to learn content, recorded sessions and useful links for the further reinforcement of the topics. They are always connected with the students and parents to solve their queries.

In the times of virtual learning, teachers are not only helping the students in academics but also involving them in various co curricular activities to make them invest their day in a better and productive manner. The school has left no stone unturned to bring education to their doorsteps with the goal that no child should be left behind. Our heartfelt gratitude to all the parents for their hearty involvement and support which are crucial for letting the wheel of virtual learning move smoothly.

When you are looking at your mother, you are looking at the purest love you will ever know.” Mother is not only the epitome of love but also the biggest warrior. She is the first teacher, friend, guide, philosopher to her child. Celebrating the spirit of our supermoms, on this mother’s day we encouraged the enthusiastic and adorable students of MVN Kindergarten Aravali Hills to enjoy fun activities with their moms. Children expressed their immense love for their mothers through various dance performances , songs, skits and stories, that they performed with their moms. It was a pleasure watching the super excited moms with their dynamic and energetic children during mothers day special assembly. Exhibiting their creativity, the students also made beautiful cards for their mothers. Here’s a sneak peek from the fun day.

--- it is a necessity. Earth is the only planet in our solar system known to support life. This is because Earth’s atmosphere has 78 percent nitrogen, 21 percent oxygen and 1 percent other ingredients—the perfect balance to breathe and live. However, nowadays, due to a lot of technological development, the environment in which we are living is becoming increasingly contaminated. Therefore, to highlight environmental issues, every year EARTH DAY is observed. EARTH DAY is dedicated to the bountiful Mother Nature and is observed on APRIL 22nd. It is a day of celebration and making promises to make a Happier, Healthier and Greener HOME PLANET for generations to come. Earth has always been a generous mother. She has always provided us with food, shelter and happiness. To thank our mother Earth for its bounties , this year, our little saviours of MVN Kindergarten, Aravali Hills celebrated EARTH’S DAY by planting a sapling.

“A Father is neither an anchor to hold us back nor a sail to take us there but a guiding light whose love shows us the way.” ~ Unknown The role of a Father is unparalleled and difficult to explain in words. With arms wide open and a heart so big, he is there at every step from the very beginning and it is his love that carries us through every moment. He is a guide, a protector and a role model who supports all our dreams and desires. He is our first teacher and the one who wants to catch us before we fall but instead picks us up, brushes us off and lets us try again. He is the real and the first superhero in the life of a child. On Father’s Day, we celebrated the strength that binds the whole family together and the hero of our lives. The kindergarteners engaged in various activities like baking, card making, poster making, singing and dancing to show their appreciation. They enjoyed the day making memories that will be cherished for years to come.

“The nature of yoga is to shine the light of awareness into the darkest corners of the body.” The art of practicing yoga helps in controlling an individual’s mind, body and soul. It brings together physical and mental disciplines to achieve a peaceful body and mind; it helps manage stress and anxiety and keeps you relaxing. It also helps in increasing flexibility, muscle strength and body tone. It improves respiration, energy and vitality. Practicing yoga might seem like just stretching but it can do more for your body from the way you feel, look and move. On the occasion of International Yoga Day on 21st June, children of MVN Kindergarten, Aravali Hills participated in huge numbers and shared their yoga asanas –postures such as Tadasana, Sirsasana, Dhanurasana, Vajrasana, Lotus Position, Shavasana, Suryanamaskar etc.

Animals are a constant fascination to children. Animal fables have been a part of our oral tradition since time immemorial. We have all grown up with tales of the mouse who freed the lion or the thirsty crow. In EVS, kindergartners learnt about Animals. They were happy to learn about Pet, Farm and Wild Animals. They classified the animals on the basis of the places they live in and learnt about their habitats. The children made beautiful journals for the same. They were thrilled to learn about the Life Cycle of Animals and enamored by the way the young ones grow and change. They participated enthusiastically and spoke confidently for the CLASS SPEAK ON ACTIVITY – “MY FAVOURITE ANIMAL”,while sporting beautiful face masks, headgears and cutouts. Furthering the concept of Activity based learning; the children participated in clay modeling and origami paper folding. The activity stimulated their imagination and creativity and they were very proud to see their efforts come together as scenery created using the clay caterpillar and the paper dog.

Art and Craft Art and craft activities give kids a sense of achievement and allow them to take pride in their work which builds their confidence. Including art as an important part of the child’s curriculum can have an enormous impact on the child’s growth. Not only will it prepare the child for academic success but will also foster their early emotional development. It will give the child the opportunity to express themselves creatively. When kids use their fingers to manipulate art materials, they are developing their fine motor skills. Our little munchkins had fun doing various art and craft activities and are happy to share some glimpses of the same.

Show and tell is usually the first opportunity young children have, to stand up in front of a small group and speak. A wonderful introduction to public speaking as children are often given the option of speaking about a topic they know well and are interested in. Speaking about something you love always makes you love it even more!

MVN Aravali Hills, Kindergartners learnt the importance of fruits and were very happy and excited to showcase their lip smacking treats for the SHOW & TELL ACTIVITY on My Favourite Summer Food/Drink. Our ecstatic, smart and ingenious learners shared Tag lines too: “Eat Aaam , Keep Calm”. “Refresh your day with a Lemonade”. “Sweet and Yummy, Good for Tummy”. “Healthy Food, Healthy Mind”. “Yummy yummy , made by Mummy,Loved by Tummy” It was an overwhelming sight to see the tiny tots speaking confidently about their favouritesummer fruit, how to keep our body hydrated and nourished by eating summer fruits and drinks. They understood that fruits are an excellent source of essential vitamins and minerals, and they are high in fiber. Fruits provide a wide range of health-boosting antioxidants, including flavonoids.Thisfun filled event sparked their imagination and made them think more about the importance of fruits.

LEARNING IS FUN !

Performing arts allows children to explore and express themselves both physically and mentally. We at MVN Aravali Hills believe in creating strength and endurance at an early age as it creates a solid platform for child’s physical development and level of fitnesss. The school offers dance classes in both eastern and western dance along with fusion and creative forms of dance. These classes, apart from developing poise and grace among the students, make them aware of the rich cultural heritage of India. Children develop a greater range of movement whilst developing the ability to work within different spaces, these patterns further develop kinesthetic memory. Overall, these classes are a fun way to get exercise while kids are developing their movement skills and using hundred of muscles in their body, they are also giving their heart and lungs a healthy workout.

We are incredibly proud of the achievements that our dear students have made. There have been some outstanding individual performances that reflect the hardwork of teachers, students and parents. Teachers have consistently encouraged children to succeed in all areas of curriculum and have been focusing on where small incremental shifts in teaching and learning can make a significant difference to achievement and personal development. Our heart soars with happiness for our student’s accomplishments and we would like to proudly share it with everyone.
