CALENDAR BOOK This calendar book was created based on my own photographs from different art shows, galleries and museums around the world. Handwriting may be a dying art, now that nationwide curriculum standards no longer require the teaching of cursive. Some have criticized the omission, citing the cognitive benefits of cursive instruction, while others argue that the digital revolution has rendered cursive obsolete. But for now, we can still wax nostalgic over the loops and curlicues left behind by different artists.10 www.anastasiagleyzer.com

TYPOGRAPHYBOOK COVERS Erich Seligmann Fromm was a German social psychologist, psychoanalyst, sociologist, humanistic philosopher and democratic socialist. “Contemporary society preaches this ideal of unindividualized equality because it needs human atoms, each one the same, to make them function in a mass aggregation, smoothly, without friction; all obeying the same commands, yet everybody being convinced that he is following his own desires. Just as modern mass production requires the standardization of commodities, so the social process requires standardization of man, and this standardization is called “equality.” – Erich Fromm, The Art Of Loving 195614 www.anastasiagleyzer.com

awakening “You reach a point where you feel yourself going through an awakening. You look at what you used to do and who you used to be. It hurts because you realize you believed in and promoted nonsense. You grow: you evolve and you stop because you no longer operate at that frequency. As a result, there’s certain people that you have to walk away from. As a result, you start to realize just how messed up the world is. You want to help; you want to heal; you want to make it a better world. This is how you know you’re awakening a higher level of conscious- ness...” - Sylvester McNuttimagine. feel. create.
