VP, MARKETING Based in New York, reporting to the CMO Purpose of the Role The VP Marketing will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the overall marketing communications strategy and planning processes for EVRYTHNG, particularly in the US, which is our core market for positioning, penetration and growth. EVRYTHNG is an international company so strategies and executions developed and led by the VP Marketing will often be global in nature and rollout in both the U.S. and EMEA, working alongside the EMEA Marketing Director and the Product Marketing Director. Marketing’s goal is to develop and execute on the company strategy by: 1. Defining a powerful positioning platform 2. Driving awareness and credibility 3. Driving penetration of key target accounts for global consumer product manufacturer brands 4. Acquiring key strategic partners and IoT ecosystem influence 5. Creating supporting marketing operations systems, tools, content and processes The VP Marketing handles brand building and positioning (including PR, content marketing and external communications), plus lead generation and capture activities (incl. website and digital marketing, events, campaigns, etc.) in order to fulfil the company’s business goals for sales, growth and profitability. You will create and develop the most effective enterprise software marketing plans and executing flawless marketing campaigns that drive awareness and demand. Paying close attention to detail you will have a sophisticated understanding of technology and be able to communicate EVRYTHNG’s vision and product manifestation in a way that cuts through, differentiates and resonates with the market to create outstanding marketing. Duties & Responsibilities  This position reports directly to the CMO and will be responsible for developing and managing global marketing and communications strategies for EVRYTHNG with a specific focus on gaining momentum and results in the US market.  Ensure brand positioning and market awareness of EVRYTHNG as the leading IoT Smart Products platform for consumer manufacturer brands among C-level and VP/Director decision-makers in our target account audience, and in the wider IoT ecosystem, focusing on current and prospective go-to-market partners.

 Drive engagement and lead generation in high priority strategic accounts by executing coordinated campaigns around specific solution value propositions.  Responsible for working with the EMEA Marketing Director based in the London office who will own work streams and be an important contributor in making EVRYTHNG’s overall marketing and product marketing a success. Teamwork will be critical for co-ordination between London and New York teams/ activities. Required Experience & Qualifications  BS or BA degree preferred or equivalent experience  MBA preferred in a related field  More than 7 – 10+ years of professional marketing, technology experience and business development, with at least 5 years in a management capacity preferable  Demonstrated success at an existing VP/ similar role highly desirable  Strong background in B2B Marketing  Marketing background with SaaS or enterprise software  Exceptional track record developing and implementing marketing strategies and action plans that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives  Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create results driven, team oriented environment  Excellent verbal and written communications skills, especially in global, matrix environments and creativity are critical Personal attributes & other requirements  Highly analytical problem solver and strategic thinker with strong influencing and decision-making skills, but also with the capacity for creative ‘out of the box’ thinking.  A super execution-oriented and organized individual with a ‘planned response’ approach – constantly thinking “what’s the sequence of events to execute?” and “is this a priority that gets us measurably closer to achieving our goals”?  Very hands-on with a pro-active mentality to get stuff done.  Ability to operate autonomously, tenaciously and adaptably in a fluid, fast-paced and often ambiguous environment.  Ability to travel internationally when required.  Technically and commercially credible with an out-going persona who can have a confident presence in the industry and build ecosystem relationships to drive marketing opportunities.  A marketing communications pro with experience of the cut and thrust of start-up marketing.

 Familiar with our market space – enterprise software – so can relate to industry partners and players.  Someone with key industry connections who can find unique opportunities within the tech ecosystem based on their relationships is a real plus.
