What are Foodborne illnesses ? A foodborne illness which is known also as food poisoning , is an illness that happens because of eating foods that contain disease-causing microorganisms , The most disease-causing microorganisms found in food are bacteria , but can also include viruses , fungi , parasites or chemicals .
2 List 2 signs and symptoms of foodborne illnesses
The signs and symptoms of foodborne illnesses are different depending on the cause and type of infection . Two of them are : 1 : vomiting 2 : diarrhea

Some of the illness-causing bacteria that are commonly found in foods are : 01 Campylobacter 03 Salmonella 02 04 It is most found in food products It can be found in variety from animals such as : of food such as : - Poultry ( chicken or turkey ) - Dairy products - Unpasteurized milk - Fruits and vegetables Escherichia coli (E.coli) Listeria The most common way to get Listeria is commonly found in : E.coli is by eating : - Raw milk and cheeses - Undercooked hamburgers - Proccesed fruits ( ground beef ) - Cheese made from raw milk
