From the principal’s desk “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today” Adapting to change, counselling the children to cope with the new normal, making learning interesting for them in the online mode, bringing in a new level of inclusivity with parents' viewpoint and now the digital issue of the school magazine Renaissance. I extend my heartiest good wishes to the editorial board, the entire staff and the children. I am proud to say that everyone working in tandem have taken creativity and teamwork to the next level. The children have participated in various activities , won prizes in competitions, the Board results have been excellent . In a nutshell , the pandemic could not bog down the innovative ideas, diligence , courage and equanimity of my entire staff and students. They have all done us proud. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome the newest entrants, our Pre-primary students and their parents . In keeping with the new normal , the Orientation Programme to interact with you in the school premises cannot be possible. We miss the time when the parents got a brief idea about the school, the learning methodology, co- curricular activities, confidence building activities and also watched the stage performance by the children . But we are going to showcase everything in Renaissance to give the parents glimpses of how life at Andrews will be for the tiny tots.

important pointers q Classes range from the Pre-School to the Senior Secondary Level. At the Pre-School and Pre-Primary levels, we employ stimulating play way methods of learning through a host of enjoyable activities like colour days, building blocks and train tracks, art and craft activities, helps children develop their mind, fine motor skills and imagination. Recitation contests, fancy dress competition, dance and music are organised that empowers healthy competitive spirit among students. q Smart class rooms that enhance presentations and understanding has been introduced at all levels. Graphics, live action videos and animations allow learners to learn making learning a meaningful and joyful experience. q The House activities are an integral part of the school curriculum. We have a child psychologist and regular workshops are organised q A customized ERP system has been designed by the school for better communication between parents and teachers. Through this system a parent can keep the entire record of their wards in terms of activities, attendence, classwork, lesson plans, assignments, examination results , fee details , health checkup etc via a school app designed for both android and ios users.
