TChris Ponticelli Good News! On a Sabbath this past spring, Beverly and Donna, two Kinshipwomen of Region 9, were baptized into a localAdventist Church by a Iong{ime friend of Kinship members. At the Kinship members' request, lhe ceremony was conducted privately. Both Donna and Beverly originally learned of Adventism through Adventist women friends and each has attended at least two ol Kinship's annual campmeetings. Donna, who comes from a Church of Christ background, has been studying Adventist doc- trines on her own for more than six years and became particularly convinced of the Sabbath doctrine. However, due to a concern about smoking and drinking, she made no move toward baptism untilrecently. Beverly comes from a Lutheran tradition and has tried Catholicism in her search forthe right church for her. As she and Donna studied together, Beverly also became convinced that she wished to accept Christ as her personal savior and asked to ex- press this by baptism into the Adventist Church. Both women leel they have finally met their soul-mates in one another and feelvery happy in the lord as they are \"growing spiritually by leaps and bounds!\" +++ Kinship E*htpCal.\"da;l Cctobev\"SEPTEMBER St]N MON TUE SAB01 Marie Croloot 'u V' 30 1 ., 3401 Kurt Michaels02 Rob Peterson \./, 3(S)A+tEr- r iAYETri pE \Tt Wuo I ,VETl1 BEST03 David Morris rfl.l €(efif06 R.
