REJUVENATION Womenswear spring/summer 2018 semester project (5th semester)

In Indian mythology, it has often been studied that each and every human being has its natural element, to which she is usually inclined to. probably, mine is Rain, for the dusted leaves that it has outlined to life or the silent petrichor that it leaves behind, has always inspired me. It is a pivotal weather that changes the mood and refreshes people. Nature decays and reborn every aspect of it, be it lowers, weather or beings. So are the trends. Rain when ends leave a beautiful sight illed with brightness, rejuvenation, and smell of mud. Everything seems to come alive.Following designs will constitute these similar aspects of Rejuvenation.

ILLUSION men's wear spring/summer 2020 Technique -pattern making Draping

“Dream delivers us to dream, and there is no end to illusion. Life is like a train of moods like a string of beads, and, as we pass through them, they prove to be many- colored lenses which paint the world their own hue. . . .

DOODLE Kids Wear (6 to 8 yr) spring / summer 2020 technique - Pattern making Hand Embroidery

Doodle is a brand by the children (as every adult have a little kid tickling inside), for the children and from the children as it is inspired by the randomly scribbled patterns by the little kids, which have no meaning to us as adults but are highly abstract and an insight into the child's developing psychology, mind or consciousness. As a kid we all have sketched something really really stupid and meaningless, but we all cherish those childhood days which got caged in those dull creamy pages. Doodle is an attempt to recreate those memories; cage them in a quality cloth which might be kept for your children's children and in a way for forever. That's what Doodlers do. It does nothing but create, record and refresh one's childhood days in a trendy, comfortable and designer way.

Mission - Doodle we aim to recreate those memories which are the most cherished ones in a fashionable dress for the children to wear and keep. Our aim is to convert there childhood days in a quality cloth which might be kept by them as they grow up for there children's children and almost forever. MOODBOARD

SUSTAIN ABILITY womenswear spring /summer 2020 Inspiration - Bohemians

Sustainability focuses on meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. The project aims at giving holistic understanding towards sustainable fashion. What are the environmental issues and social impact that are created by the Industry which is driven by fast pace and wasteful production. Brinding the gap between sustainable practices and existing approach to fashion ,the project focusses the individual solutions to identified concerns within the immediate environment. We were given various inputs on constructing a garment based on sustainable practices

How Fashion is Wasted ? Materials used during the production process of garments are dumped as waste regularly by the people in fashion industry. This waste is called as manufacturing waste as it is generated by processing fibres and the production of finished yarns, textiles, technicals textiles, nonwovens, garments including off-cuts, selvages, unsold clothes, rejected material etc. This waste is generally clean waste, which can be minimised through creative design and quality construction. Waste need a 360 degree Design vision where every bit of everything made is reusable, adaptable or biodegradable. A Close loop Vision for an open minded future

I have gone to the export house, where around 3 to 4 percent of the material was wasted due to multiple numbers of defects that were found in them. The clothes which were made from this material didn’t even get outside in the market and thus never even reached in the hands of the customer, thus becoming part of manufacturing waste. These unsold clothes constituted around 5 percent of that particular cycle of production. I took these defective garments at no cost and recycled them into new clothes

Bohemian style is the blend of little hippy and wild. Dresses are usually loose, flowy and asymmetrical. Multiple colours are involved in this style. Patterns can be the synonym of this style. This style depicts a carefree nature!
