Circuit Pointe2017 Highlights

MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR In fiscal year 2017, Circuit Pointe has found much reason to celebrate as we have moved boldly with our work into remote, hard-to-reach communities where we have provided bespoke emotional and practical support to sexually abused teens, oppressed women, victims of harmful traditional practices and delivered lasting impact through programs that empowers people – especially young women and girls. I am immensely impressed by the dedication of our volunteers to achieve our mission. In 2017, our team has grown stronger and thanks to their support, we have continued to inspire the trust of donors and received grants, donations and support from international organizations, networking NGOs, private companies and individuals to impact the lives of 11,938 people in Imo State. With your continued support, we will continue to deliver results and transform the lives of millions

Improving Access Summary: Supported by OneWorldto Digital Literacy Foundation, we established digital libraries in Community Primary Project School Dikenaofeiyi and St Pauls’ Primary School, Ezeihe Dikenaofeiyi using solar powered tablets Impact: preloaded with educational materials - 20% increase in pupil’s enrollment into such as ebooks, interactive games, teaching aids and other learning the school recorded resources. - 511 pupils and 21 teachers have Objective: access to digital library using a weekly - To bridge the digital divide and schedule. - 15 orphans who dropped out of school increase access to technology and due to lack of finances are now back to education for 350 primary school school thus increase completion rate in children the schools. - To re-enrol 15 out-of-school children through scholarship and provision of school kits
