Team Directory TERMS AND CONDITIONSThe Team Directory is a courtesy service provided by HOLLA’! Cheer and Dance Magazine™. General listings in the directory are FREE. The directory is available to all teams, regardless of race or gender. Listings are placed in alphabetical order per state. Enhanced listings are available at a rate of $100.00 for one year with an allowance of 4 revisions to the post during the one year term. Enhanced listings may also be used to advertise tryouts, team sponsoredcompetitions, team showcases, fundraisers and/or any event benefitting the team directly. Enhanced listingsare not available to event producers or corporate advertisers. Enhanced listings are invoiced via PayPal® anddue upon receipt. Graphics must be supplied with payment, by the purchaser with the graphic resolution setat a minimum of 300 dpi in JPEG format. HOLLA’! Cheer and Dance Magazine™ will not create or revise any graphics for any enhanced listings. HOLLA’! Cheer and Dance Magazine™reserves the right to reject any submission for any reason. HOLLA’!Cheer and Dance Magazine™ also reserves the right to verify the information submitted to verify working links and e-mails of the listing. Listings found to have deactivated links or contact information will be purged without notice. Submissions for listings must be received by the form below. Submissions must include information in the required fields. Incomplete submissions will not be placed in the directory. No notice for incomplete submissions will be rendered. Due to the high volume of e-mails received in the office, please DO NOT submit your listings by e-mail. Coaches, program directors and owners are responsible for notifying the website administrator of anyupdates and/or revisions to their listings. Teams who have not updated their listings after a two year period will be purged from the directory without notice. Submissions are due on the 25th of each month to be added to the following month’s update which are posted on the 1st of each month.HOLLA’! Parents and patrons are responsible for thoroughly investigating the programs and/or teams listed prior to patronage. As priority is given to paying subscribers of the publication and competitors of the Black College | BCCDCCheer and Dance Championship™ the editor will also consider content of non patrons that would appeal to ourreaders. To be considered to be featured, please send an e-mail to [email protected] with theattachments as listed below:List in the subject line – POTENTIAL FEATURE• Full Name | Full Mailing Address | (2) Telephone Contacts | (2) E-mail addresses | A brief synopsis of the feature• Program or Gym Name | Owner and director information | Copy of the program’s general release policy for media, promotion, etc.• Include 5 – 10 high resolution (600 dpi minimum) photographs that we may use for publication. Star web page. 3entries are initially selected to verify that there are not consecutive HOLLA’! Stars from a team of a previously selected starwithin the past 3 months. 3 entries are also selected as to also secure a runner up star in the event the selected stardoes not respond by the deadline or the selected star is not able to provide the content for the feature. In addition, weknow this may be a little bias, but if a brother is selected, we do give priority to the fellas. Non selected entries remain inthe pool indefinitely.How can my gym or program get a HOLLA’! Welcome Goodie Package?Occasionally HOLLA’! will send a welcoming package to a new or expanding program. The decision to send thepackages is solely up to the CEO and editor of the company. The packages are not sent based on requests, but basedon findings that a new program has opened or a program is expanding into a new facility. Please do not contact theeditor for Welcome Goodie Package requests.If my program is sponsoring a competition or event, can I request HOLLA’! to coverthe event?You are certainly welcome to request that HOLLA’! be in attendance. However, events selected to be covered areusually set at least a year in advance with priority given to advertising event producers.I submitted a post for a daily HOLLA’! It did not get posted. Why?The editor receives hundreds of requests for HOLLA’!s every day. Each post is reviewed for content. If a post yousubmitted has not been posted, be patient, as she will post them as soon as she can. If she cannot or will not post it,she may reach out to you with an explanation.I submitted a tryout flyer for HOLLA’! to post on their social media sites. Why wasn’tit posted?Because, HOLLA’! is the sponsor and host of the Black College | BCCDC Cheer and Dance Championship™, it is thepolicy of the company not to post tryout notices from any teams to remain neutral in the program’s recruitment in theevent that – that team may compete at the Black College | BCCDC Cheer and Dance Championship™.I also noticed you will not post competition flyers or event notices from teams.Why not?As HOLLA’! is an ad revenue business, the time and effort to post event information requires staff attention which must bereserved for paying corporate advertisers. HOLLA’! created the enhanced listing as an affordable option just for teamsto advertise their events to our thousand followers and readers.

Is HOLLA’! hiring?HOLLA’! is always looking for talented writers, graphic artists, editors, event workers and more. She is assuring that the manufacturers of theitems are providing quality products that will be worth the money consumers are paying. If it is something she doesn’tthink HOLLA’! patrons would buy based on quality, worth and content, it is not going to be for sale through HOLLA’! Forher, it has to be worth the price, high quality, sustainable and just plain “the bomb!”I don’t see HOLLA’! in the communities. Are you planning on giving back?Of course! But we have to get to a position where we can indeed give back. As a small and still growing business, weare no good unless we are footed – firmly. Right now, our way of giving back is to use our publication to give attentionto causes such as voter registration, breast cancer awareness and other social issues that affect black Americans.
