I’d like to thank everyone who supported our Read-A-Thon Fundraiser in March. With your support, we were able to raise over $15,000 for our Patriots! SLIDESMANIA.COM Counselor News We are excited to announce our Counselor, Ms. Alonzo will be hosting student character building groups. We will start with our 5th grade Girls, “Level-Up Ladies” group in the month of April. In May, we will host our 5th Grade boys group for “Empower Hour”. Look out in May for more information coming soon!

SLIDESMANIA.COM ·Parent Portal· Attendance: Thank you to all of our parents who continue to ensure your children are present daily and arrive on time. We truly appreciate your support with our attendance goal of 95%. We are still having many students getting here well after 7:50 AM. Please be sure to get here on time daily so they aren’t counted as partial absences. Students with perfect attendance for the 5th grading period will be invited to a popsicle party (see flyer). Events: We would like to thank all who attended and helped with our Muffins With Moms event. It was a wonderful turnout and we loved having all our Patriot Families back on campus. If you are interested in sponsoring our Donuts With Dads Event, or volunteering to help serve, please don’t hesitate to reach out. COVID Updates: Desk shields are made available to students upon request in classroom environments and the cafeteria. Parents and visitors are welcome on campus to participate in campus events. We encourage parents and family members to attend their students’ activities and celebrations. CCISD will continue to restrict parents from eating lunch with their student, and bringing any snacks on birthdays. There are no changes to student quarantine period of 10 days. This decision does not come from CCISD; the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) determines the student return policy for (e.g., COVID-19).
