P Gopichand Forefront You may be about to leave school or college, be near to graduating or thinks about taking a whole different career path years after you started first. Whatever your situation, the key is to find an occupation you are passionate about, and that fits in what you want from your life. I have chosen routes that work for me, so when I wanted to play, I chose the career that would take me there. I was in charge of my life & I am thankful that I dared to speak out my heart. At the age of 30, I announced retirement starting my badminton academy, and I started in a leased accommodation. Today I am proud that our academy produces the world-class badminton players. So, whatever you choose to do, think long and hard about the way you want to do it and whether that career will work for your personality, whoever you are and whatever you like doing the best. Good luck with boards, job search and your future career. Love P Gopichand CAREER BEACON | Issue 2 | 2019 | 5
