Introduction English textbook is compiled for the first year primary teacher students. This contents of the textbook stresses picture based learning and activities. The lessons stress four skills language teaching and learning , speaking , reading, listening and writing .they are also instructions for using standard teaching aids. they had been developed for English books for primary schools from different counties, adapted to a Lao context. Moreover, it include pronunciation and vocabularies . This textbook consists of 15 lessons. It can be used for teaching in the 1st year students of 12+2 system continues course, semester one.
