Places Set in a beautifully restored building in the town of São Brás de Alportel you’ll find the most quaint Museum... Museu do Traje MCOUNSSETUUMME 16 www.eastalgarvemag.com

In the centre of town The Costume 17 Museum of São Brás de Alportel occupies an area of 5000 m2. It was the manor building which was the home of the Dias, Andrade and Sancho families for over 130 years. The surroundings and infrastructure impressively met the needs of the wealthy families from the end of the 19th century consisting of a servants’ house, lookout, stables, workshops, farm houses and vegetable garden and in the grounds, a well and well windmill together with water tanks, a cistern, washing tank and irrigation channels. Although it is clearly urban in influence, the building provided all the essential needs for a way of life of a rural and well- heeled family from the Algarve countryside. Together with the influence of last decades and of the eighties these combine with the impressive interior courtyards, neo-Arab lines, nooks and quills, as well as unique doors finished in a horseshoe shape. Today, times have changed and as a museum space it has a new use and a different function. A few years ago, a new building with a contemporary design was integrated into the mix of visions and influences that already existed. This new space, created an opening and encouraged the doors to be open to all. It became a place for local and rural people as a meeting point for ideas and creativity. In the Costume Museum there are exhibitions, shows and lectures. On display www.eastalgarvemag.com

are professional costume displays through www.eastalgarvemag.com the eras as well as jewelry and artifacts. The space welcomes local visitors and tourists alike, and the aim is to make the museum increasingly useful and essential to the community in which it operates. With a concern for the planet and region as a whole, there are also Iinitiatives that promote environmental concerns. The museum strives to ensure that every one of their actions, initiatives, and exhibitions are consistent, deliberate and accurate. A warm welcome will greet you and we would highly recommend a visit. One Goal - One Purpose “I am extremely proud to announce the formation of Private Client Consultancy Wealth Management and my transition after 17 successful years working with deVere Spain. In a changing business landscape, with shifting client expectations, increasing regulatory and compliance requirements, and rising costs; there’s a growing need for smaller IFAs to join a professional network that can help them manage and reduce the burden. Private Client Consultancy is that network. IFAs can now focus on helping their clients achieve great outcomes whilst we at PCC manage the necessary paperwork, which will empower them to expand their business as they see fit. PCC is a B2B service provider for IFAs that takes care of customer relationship management, products, and services through alliances with major financial institutions, compliance, marketing, and public relations. This is the network for those IFAs and brokers who have become disenfranchised with their network provider or those who simply want to set up by themselves but are struggling with license regulatory demands. All stakeholders can benefit from the network: more clients and smaller IFAs get the protection of being backed by deVere, as PCC will use deVere Spain’s license and will initially, operate across Europe.” CEO and Founder, Andy Oliver
