CHARTER OF DUTIES Vocational Trg Course. 1. Detailment of JCOs / OR on vocational training courses one month prior to commencement of course and supplementary detailment on cancellation and allotment by DGR. Vacancies are being allotted by DGR. 2. Place demand of vocational training courses vac according to annual wastage of all arms/services obtained from 45 Record Offices. 3. Intimation of Resettlement / Vocational trg courses to all Record Offices. 4. Issue of policy letters as regards to resettlement trg pgme/course, based on input from DGR. Asha Schools. 1. Liaise with Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MOSJE) to expedite the grant for various Asha Schools. Allotment of Asha School grants out of AG’s Welfare Fund. 2. Provide latest guidelines of MOSJE to Asha Schools. 3. Nodal agency for all official communications and passage of orders/instr to various Asha Schools through ‘A’ Branch. Welfare Institutes. Monitoring the functions and allotment of grants out of AG’s Welfare Fund for the following welfare institutes for disabled soldiers:- (a) Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre (PRC), Kirkee. (b) Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre (PRC), Mohali. (c) Queen Mary’s Technical Institute (QMTI), Pune. (d) St. Dunstan’s After Care Organization, Dehradun. (e) Red Cross Home (RCH), Bangalore. (f) Palliative Care Centre, Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt. (g) Artificial Limb Centre, Pune. (h) Old Age Home (OAH), Lucknow (UP).
(j) Old Age Home (OAH), Panchakula (HR). (k) Qtly update of data bank of inmates. (l) Scrutinizing of expdr details of grants and its utilization by Welfare Institutes. (m) CTS/CRS budgeting for welfare institutes, as projected/ approved by respective Comd HQs. (n) Ensure timely projection and compilation of projects to be undertaken through CTS/ CSR. Misc. 1. Issues relating to Coffee Table Books incl distribution and storage. 2. Financial assistance to differently abled dependents of serving / Ex-serviceman for purchase of mobility eqpt.
