Podar International School Jamnagar PARENT TEACHER MEETING –(2022-23) Date-18 APRIL 2022 Grade 1: 30 Parents Grade 2: 25 Parents The First Meeting of the session began with lighting of lamp and a motivation song presented by group of students and Teachers. “Jyoti Kalash Chalke”. It was followed by introduction of Teachers and coordinators. The following points were discussed by the coordinator- Mr. Mit Solani. 1. Classes will be held from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm for the academic year 2022–2023. Students need to reach the school by 7:50 am. 2. Student have to come to school in proper school uniform. 3. Student have to wear PT uniform on Wednesday and Saturday. Rest of the days student will wear regular uniform. 4. Parents can buy books and uniform at: Jyoti-The school mall, 1st floor, opp. Amber cinema. Contact no.6353211302. 5. Books and uniform are available online also on shopforschool 6. Send two tiffins for the child, since students get two breaks, namely short break and long break. 7. Kindly send healthy food. No junk food is allowed. 8. Send water bottle, extra mask and hand sanitizer along with your child. 9. Notebooks and textbook of the students should be covered properly. 10. Books should be sent according to Time table only. 11. Students need to bring books only as per their time-tables. No extra books to be brought to school. 12. Parents can pay fees by online mode i.e., by BetweenUs, or by depositing cheque at school. No cash will be accepted. 13. Fees should be paid on time i.e., before 15th of every quarter.

14. Parents can meet teachers in between 2:30 to 3:30 on every Friday. 15. We have Innovation lab to develop scientific aptitude in students. 16. MI room and nurse is available at school to give first aid if any emergency is there. No medicine is given to any child. 17. Handwriting and Reading classes are arranged for the students. 18. Remedial classes are arranged for weak students. 19. Subject wise weekly tests to be conducted. 20. After the beginning of a lesson, a diagnostic test shall be taken to test the previous knowledge of the student required to proceed with the topic. If any gap is observed, remedial classes shall be scheduled to bridge the learning gap and at the end of the lesson, Achievement test shall be conducted to measure the learning outcome of the students. 21. Examinations will be conducted from grade 3 onwards. Grade 1 and Grade 2 will have worksheets. Grade 2 might have to appear for final examination. 22. Parents can communicate with the school through between us app.
