Article-a-an-the การใช้

ARTICLE  Articles แบ่งเป็ น 2 ชนิดคือ  Indefinite Article ได้แก่ a และ an ใชน้ ำหนำ้ นำมนบั ได้ ( Countable Nouns ) เอกพจนท์ ว่ั ๆไป ( Singular )  Definite Article ได้แก่ the ซงึ่ ใช้นำหนำ้ คำนำมนบั ได้ ( Countable Nouns ) และนำมนบั ไมไ่ ด้ ( Uncountable Nouns ) ทง้ั รูปเอกพจน์ Singular ) และพหูพจน์ ( Plural ) เพอ่ื ให้ นำมนนั้ มคี วำมหมำยเฉพำะเจำะจง

การใช้ INDEFINITE ARTICLE : A, AN  ใช้ a นาหน้าคานามนับได้ เอกพจน์ ข้ึนต้นด้วยพยัญชนะและมีความหมาย ท่ัวไปในความหมาย หน่ึง โดยไมต่ ้องการเน้นจานวน เช่น a woman,  a dog, a dentist, a newspaper, a city , a book , a shop เช่น  He is reading a newspaper. เขำกำลงั อ่ำนหนงั สอื พมิ พ์

ต่อ  2. ใช้ an นาหน้าคานามนับได้ เอกพจน์ข้ึนต้นด้วยสระ และมคี วามหมาย ทั่วไป เช่น an orange, an umbrella, an hour, an article  It's raining .You will need an umbrella .ฝนกำลงั ตก คุณจะต้องมรี ่มกนั ฝน.

ต่อ  หมายเหตุ  ถำ้ คำนำมนบั ได้ เอกพจน์ นน้ั ขน้ึ ต้นด้วยสระ แต่ว่ำออกเสยี งเป็นพยญั ชนะ ใหใ้ ช้ a เชน่ a uniform, a university, a European, a eucalyptus ( ต้นยูคำลบิ ตสั ), a utensil, a union, a useful, a unit

กำรใช้ THE 2.1 The + Noun เอกพจน์ --> ใช้แทนท่ีความหมาย noun นั้น ท้ังประเภท เช่น - The whale is a mammal. 2.2 ใช้กับ noun ที่มอี ันเดียวสิ่งเดียว เช่น the sun, the moon, the earth, the ground 2.3 Noun ท่ีมสี ่วนขยายอยู่ข้างหลัง หรือ นามท่ีผูส้ นทนาร้วู ่ากาลังพูด ถึง - The postman was late today. (บรุ ษุ ไปรษณีย์ที่มาประจา กาลังถกู พูดถึง)

ต่อ  2.4 Noun ท่ีถกู กล่าวถึงเป็ นคร้ังท่ีสอง - We live in a hut, the hut is old. 2.5 ชื่อหมเู่ กาะ(พหพู จน์) เช่น the Marshalls แต่ชื่อเกาะ (เอกพจน)์ ไมใ่ ช้ the เช่น Sicily 2.6 ช่ือเทือกเขา(พหพู จน์) เช่น the Himalayas แต่ชื่อภเู ขา (เอกพจน)์ ไมใ่ ช้ the เช่น Mount Everest 2.7 ข้ัวโลก ใช้ the เช่น the North Pole

ต่อ 2.8 ชื่อคลอง, ช่ือแมน่ ้า, ชื่อทะเล, ช่ือมหาสมทุ ร, ช่ือทะเลทราย ใช้ the แต่ทะเลสาบไมใ่ ช้ the 2.9 ชื่อโรงแรม, ชื่อโรงภาพยนต์ ใช้ the 2.10 ช่ือหนังสือพมิ พ,์ สมาคม, องค์การ, บริษัท, ห้างร้าน ใช้ the 2.11 ชื่อเรือ ใช้ the เช่น the Queen Elizabeth

 2.12 superlative degree (ขั้นสดุ ) ใช้ the เช่น the tallest girl, the most interesting book 2.13 เคร่ืองจักรและส่ิงประดิษฐ์ ใช้ the เช่น the telephone, the bicycle 2.14 Noun ต่อไปน้ีใช้ the ได้แก่ the cinema, the theatre, the radio

 2.15 ใช้ the + adjective หรอื the + Verb3 จะมี ความหมายเป็ น Noun พหพู จน์ ใช้ Verb พหพู จน์ เช่น the rich, the poor, the old, the young, the blind, the deaf, the sick, the dead, the disabled, the injured, the wounded, the unemployed, the brave

 2.16 เช้ือชาติ, สัญชาติ ใช้ the จะมคี วามหมายว่า พลเมืองของ ประเทศนั้น เช่น the British = คนอังกฤษ 2.17 ช่ือเครื่องดนตรี ใช้ the เช่น the guitar, the piano แต่ ชื่อกีฬาไมใ่ ช้ the เช่น volleyball, cricket, chess, cards 2.18 หน้า adjective บอกลาดับที่ ใช้ the เช่น the first chapter

 2.19 ช่ือประเทศท่ีเป็ นพหพู จน์, หมเู่ กาะ, สาธารณรัฐ, สห ใช้ the เช่น the Philippines, the Netherlands, the Republic of China แต่ปกติแล้ว ประเทศจะไมใ่ ช้ the เช่น Thailand 2.20 ช่ือภาคใช้ the เช่น the Far East, the south of Spain แต่ถ้าใช้ southern Spain ไมต่ ้องมี the
