AN EYE ON THE FUTURE While minerals and metals have been core industries of strength, the last few years have seen us innovating in new growth areas. Following three years of development, a prototype is being produced for a 20-seater minibus and a delivery vehicle of the same dimensions. GREEN TECHNOLOGIES We are well-positioned to help Independent Power Producers (IPP) take advantage of the opportunities to address the energy supply challenges facing southern Africa. Novatec SA is working on a biomass power plant for Sappi, one of the first IPPs announced.
