Forward Trades Can be the solution if you don’t need to make a payment immediately but can’t risk the exchange rate fluctuating. Lock in your price now, but pay for the currency later, eliminating stress and allowing you to focus on the more important things in life! Market Orders: • Good till cancelled (GTC) – set a target rate you hope to achieve and if the market reaches that rate your currency will be bought or sold automatically. A GTC will keep tracking the currency until cancelled. • Good till expiry (GTE) – set a target rate you hope to achieve within a set window. If the market reaches that rate, within your timeframe, your currency will be bought or sold automatically. • One cancels other (OCO) – enables you to target a higher rate but also have a safety net in place in case the rates start to fall, protecting you from further losses. Whichever instruction is struck first cancels the other.
