Our Veterans do so much for this country and it’san honor to have the opportunity to give back to them. The Women’s Freedom Ride was started in 2013 to promote fellowshipand show support for all women riders. The original concept came aboutduring a concert to promote Veterans, in 2012, with women ridersdiscussing how to help our countries Veterans, and at the same timebring awareness of the impact that women riders have in the motorcyclecommunity. From that discussion, the Women’s Freedom Ride wascreated.Veterans have given so much for all of us, and we are Honored to beable to give back to them. Each year, 100% of the donations we raisegoes directly to a non–profit charity Veterans organization, to help makea difference in a Veteran’s life. The Women’s Freedom Ride is not just one, but multiple rides andevents, while we traverse this great country, promoting woman riders. Our support is not just limited to the rides, but also showing supportand encouragement throughout the year. Encouraging women to stepoutside their normal parameters and believe in themselves. We do notlimit ourselves to a specific brand of motorcycle, all women riders arewelcome. Continued on next page

RIDIN’ AND EATIN’Using the interweb or social media to find new restaurants with great food can bringdisappointment when discovering that a place is nowhere near what was expected. It’ssometimes better to approach a new place with little or no optimism. So not knowingmuch about the place other than the unusual name, it was a bit of a gamble trying out theHole In The Wall Cafe. When arriving, you notice how small the place appears. Looking like it can’t hold morethan a dozen patrons, it’s a pleasant surprise to find that it is much roomier than that. The menu has the normal variety of cafe food such as burgers, sandwiches, salads, anddinner plates. There are 11 burgers on the menu including the The Hog, The Wild Hog,The Piglet, and The Wild Pig.You will NOT want to order the Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich. It costs $23.59 and youneed to allow 30 minutes for preparation! Asking the owner how popular the PB&J was, wewere told, “I don’t know. I never had to make one.”The food is good. Really good. And the atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. It’s alwaysgood when a restaurant recognizes “scooter trash” (the owner’s words) and goes out oftheir way to make you feel welcome. The Hole In The Wall Cafe is the whole experience, Texas-style!
