A Series of Unfortunate Events Review (WARNING !!!!!!!! SPOILERS AHEAD) On January Friday the 13th Netflix released therenew Series of Unfortunate Events. The show is basedon the books written by Lemony Snicket. There are 13 books in the series and showcase the misfortune of the three Baudelaire Orphans after their parents parish in a terrible fire. They go to live with their mysterious Count Olaf. But Olaf is only after theirfortune. So they begin their journey from guardian toguardian. The books were adapted to screen before byDreamworks featuring the Comedian Jim Carry playthe evil Count. The movie tried to fit the first 3 books into a one and a half hour movie. Now in this new series it features Patrick Warburton play the role of the narrator Lemony Snicket. It also feature the comedic humor of Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf. Malina Weissman plays the very ingenious Violet Baudelaire. Louis Hynes plays the highly intelligent Klaus Baudelaire.
A Series of Unfortunate Events Continue The series take the first four book and divides them in half for 45 min segments in each episode. The series features a lot of the dark comedy found in the books. We have a lot of the explanation for words as Lemony Snicket does in the books as he narrates. The openingthemes starts with a Musical number from Neil Patrick Harris telling us to look away from the show. It alsogives a little preview of what the episode holds in store. All the episode are great with a fantastic cast. You have the ever so idiotic banker Mr. Poe, Count Olaf's evil Theater Troupe, and people we wish would have stuck around like Uncle Monty and Aunt Josephine. The first season ends with a musical number just showing the despair that is liking coming the Baudelaire's way. But we have to admit that the different versions of Count Olaf are nailed by Neil Patrick Harris like Stephano, Captain Sham, and Shirley the receptionist.
