SUMMER CAMP AT THE Y! At the Y, we believe that all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. Y Summer Camp provides children and teens with supervised activities that cultivate values, develop skills and nurture relationships. Give your kids the chance to have fun, improve their health, learn new things and reach their potential - sign up for Summer Camp at the Y. With over 200 children attending each week, YMCA summer day camp is the place to be! When school is out, the Y has programs all 12 weeks of summer. Whether you are looking for full or half day programs, sport camps, specialty or preschool camps, the Y has something for you. WHY THE Y.... QUALITY! ACA Accreditation means that your child’s camp cares enough to undergo a thorough (up to 300 standards) review of its operation. FULL DAY CAMPS Each week has its own “theme” and is packed with activities, crafts and games, treasure hunts, water-fun, sports of all sorts, rock climbing, ield trips, and so much more! And there will be plenty of time to make new friends, sing, play, explore, learn, and laugh--all under the watchful eyes of fully-trained staff. Fun for kids, peace of mind for you! Camp is OUTSIDE and ACTIVE, the way summer should be, utilizing Mulligan’s Hollow, Duncan’s Woods and the great outdoors. Kids only come inside for swimming or rainy day activities. Sign up for your favorite “Theme Week” or join us for all twelve weeks of fabulous fun! FULL DAY CAMPS SWIM LESSONS Monday-Friday from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm Lessons are included with the cost of the camp. An indoor 30 minute swim EXTENDED CARE lesson and 30 minutes of free swim are FREE Pre-Camp & Post-Camp Activities scheduled each day. Available (7-9 am & 4-6 pm) PAYMENT INFORMATION MEMBER: $130/week* Deposit NONMEMBER: $155/week* A $25 non-refundable deposit is due at time of camp registration. Remaining balance is due the Wednesday prior to Discovery Camp: Ages 4-5 camp start date and can be automatically drafted. Adventure Camp: Ages 6-7 Late Fee Explorer Camp: Ages 8-10 There is a $15 late fee for registrations made after 6 pm on the Friday before Trailblazer Camp: Ages 11-13 camp start date. Campers can pursue their interests with other campers and learn new skills in a safe and fun environment. If a half day of adventure is not enough, we offer your children the option of joining our tradi- tional full day campers for the rest of the day at a special rate. LEARNING TREE CAMPS Come join the fun at our Learning Tree Camps! Skilled teachers and enthusiastic youth assistants provide an exciting, safe environment for campers to develop their active imaginations through hands-on adventures. All of our camps are speciically focused on children ages 2 to 8 years old. Each weekly camp session features at least one arts and crafts project a day, music, games and even some special events and visitors! If a half day of fun is not enough, we offer extended care for your child in our Afternoon Adventures Program. Weekly themed activities, crafts, outdoor play, cooking, sports, stories and more. These programs are open to PIRATES VS. NINJAS Members and Nonmembers. We will create masks, bandanas, swords and ninja sticks, and One time learn all the cannon balling, ninjutsu Registration fee: $45 stealth movements to win the Master Battle and the sock war game at the end Daily fees: of the week! Anything over 3 hours: $25 (sibling discounts available) PICASSO ART CAMP August 4-8 Your child will experience art like they never have before! They will sponge paint, splatter paint, paint with their feet, and use their creative energy to create masterpieces! AMERICAN GIRL DOLL CAMP August 11-15 Bring your American Girl Doll-(or similar doll) to camp each day. We will make crafts for them, play games with them, even create a short skit with their dolls. The inal day of camp we will have a formal Victorian Tea Party with the Dolls in attendance! 15
