Book Anthology I started the stuff in your truth tour I have no idea what the worst or opportunities it would open for me. I was just really being obedient to what God had told me to do and was enjoying everything that was coming with that. And the process of starting the tour God gave me the word to create my own anthology. I have been a part of several but not one of my own and so what I have birth is the step in your truth book anthology which will consist of 15 authors and speakers who don’t mind sharing their truth with the world. In doing so that will allow us to heal within open the door for others to heal as well.
Jolie Rashawn, The Coach, Author and Trainer In 2012 I went through a very bad break up. And it led me into a really bad depression state and my health was affected by it. In the process of all of this I would take to water. I would find a lake or you know little areas that have bodies of water to escape and just kind of hash out my feelings and think and so one day I went to a particular lake and decided to have a talk with God. What I didn’t realize is that God was getting ready to shift and change my life for the better. When I got to the lake as I proceeded to talk to God all I could do was scream from the bottom of my soul. In 2018 I decided to take on a new venture in the speaking and coaching field. In May of 2019, I graduated from AB Coaching Academy as a Certified Life Coach and Certified Motivational Speaker. In the fall of 2019, I Published my first book “I Am not your Superwoman because I am My Own” which became and Amazon Best Seller. Since then, I have Self-published a total of 3 books, apart of 2 Anthologies, and currently working on 2 projects. I also created my 6-week SCREAM class in 2019, Teaching women, and teaching people in general how to release your purpose, your true authentic purpose that God has for your life. This journey of SCREAM allowed me to face certain situations that I had hid from myself. Past hurts that I no longer wanted to face. And just being able to look in the mirror and love on myself and to know that I was strong enough and worthy enough better for myself, not settling for what people had caused me to believe was real.
JOLIE RASHAWN, THE MINISTER, THE WIFE, THE YOUTH LEADER So, I grew up in church. I remember my aunts used to take me to church and I would pray for you know my family to be saved and my mom, especially my mom lol. My mom was a single mother who worked three jobs at certain times and just wanted to make sure that she provided the best for us. And in that timeframe, you know I wanted her to be saved and to just have a change of lifestyle. And so that became my foundation. Even though I went through my own obstacles over the years church was always my foundation God was always my rock and my source. So, growing up I built a stronger relationship with God. There were times where I did leave the charge for my own selfish reasons, but I always found my way back to him. In January 2021 I became ordained as a minister and attend new life Fellowship Church in Euless Texas. There I sit on a couple of different titles. I am of course an ordained minister, I am the church secretary, I sing in the praise team and choir, I am a part of the audio team, I am the youth leader and I also help in other areas that are needed in the ministry. First and foremost, I am a servant of God. And I feel like that has taught me that on my journey and everything else that I’m doing I have to learn to be a servant first before I can be a leader. So, I’m thankful to God for my journey with my church family. I’m also a wife to an amazing husband who definitely supports everything that I am doing right now and I’m so grateful to God for him because He knew just what I needed. I am also a mother of four beautiful young adults and grateful that they have gotten to see what my journey has been about. I’ve been able to see the growth and where I started and where I am now
Jolie Rashawn, The Mentor I have always had a thing for helping others in their time of need. And over the years I have matured and making sure that I was able to help myself first so that way I could be a better aid to the next person. On my journey of being a speaker, an author, overall, a better person, I have now developed a mentoring program called Owning Your Truth which is there to be an aid of encouragement, of uplifting, of balancing to help that next person just really embrace who they see every day in the mirror. Society teaches us to be these fictional characters that they show, these perfect people that don’t exist. And I want to be able to let people know it is OK to be different, it is OK to be authentic, and it is OK to own your ish. The Mentoring class does kick off in September. It is a weekly meeting of women who want a support sisterhood who get together and tackle different situations and different topics to help better each other. And it is a safe, free and judge Free zone. Jolie Rashawn, Mrs. Texas All World Beauties 2023 This year I told myself that whatever I wanted to put my mind to I was going to accomplish. I always wanted to compete and so I submitted in July of 2022 to compete and was selected in the 2023 National All World Beauties and Man of Distinction Pageant to be held June 29th-July 2nd in Dallas Tx which is headed by the amazing Andrea Sledge. Be on the lookout for this amazing journey of my life.
Jolie Rashawn, The Model In 2012 I had realized that for most of my life I Giving them the tools to understand that struggled with low self-esteem, depression, modeling is not just a hobby, but that must become a lifestyle and a change in how you anxiety and I really did not have an identity of see yourself. helping women to embrace my own. I then got into modeling, which themselves on the runway but also realizing that they are a canvas for the designer so provided the opportunity for me to build up my knowing the art piece that you’re wearing confidence and to start putting the pieces back being able to become one with the vision that the designer has and then being able to together of me loving myself. I have been tell a story as you grace the runway without published in several magazines, have Grace the opening your mouth at all. runway in numerous of cities and states worldwide. Have been blessed to have walked I have met some awesome celebrities like for some of the world’s greatest designers. Case, Lil Scrappy Samuel Monroe jr, Karl Kani, Duchess, Dede in the morning, Tami Roman, Big Tuck, Stevie Baggs, Lady Jade, I have had the pleasure of planning and showcasing my own fashion show in 2016 and in Gurie Sheffield, just to name a few. 2017 called BLAD, which stands for Bright Like a Diamond. I have also been in production of several other shows which included helping backstage production layout coordinating the shells from start to finish etc. I also do Runway coaching, which that involves helping young ladies to find the confidence in themselves in a classy way.
