Victoria Y. Mercer ictoria Y. Mercer was born in Queens, New York, to the late Mrs. Willie V Mae Moore, her loving and wonderful mother. She moved to Red Vice President Springs, North Carolina to help take care of her grandmother the late Visibility Outreach Katie Johnson. She later received Jesus as her Lord and savior in 2002, where she was fire baptized, Holy Ghost filled and walks in the Coordinator full authority and power of the Holy Spirit. To further her walk on her new life journey she enrolled into Bible College at Christian Outreach Bible Institution (COBI) in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Where she later graduated with her bachelor’s in religious education. As she matured in her walk with Christ, God blessed her to marry the love of her life Tyrone Mercer Jr. in June 2012 and through their union they have a beautiful daughter named Ny'Asia. In November of 2014 Victoria was appointed to the office of Prophetess. Where she walks in the flow and anointing of the prophetic. Victoria attends Victory of Worship Ministries in Fayetteville, North Carolina under the headship of Apostle Ronnie L. Owens and Pastor Pamela Owens. She stands on the word in Romans 8:28 that “all things work together for the good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.” The one thing that she does know: that every trail and storm she has encountered in her life has worked for His Glory and made her the woman of God that she is today. It has brought her to a place of completion and wholeness. She no longer has to worry about who she is or who's she is, but to Walk Victoriously in the realm of the spirit she is called to be. Victoria is the Visibility Outreach Coordinator at Santana Global Magazine. She handles press releases, creates marketing materials, negotiates with third- party vendors, finalizes event schedules, and recruit volunteers as needed. She makes meaningful connections with the people that she encounters. Her role as a visibility outreach coordinator is a very rewarding role that brings many opportunities to help vulnerable people to improve their quality of life, achieve their goals, and make a real and positive difference in their lives. She acts as a spokesperson for Santana Global Magazine, organizing media events, creating awareness about the magazine, and promoting its presence to the community through marketing and advertising. Victoria’s main area of ministry is to encourage people of all ages to be who God has called them to be. Reminding them that no matter what age you are you can become who GOD has called you to be. Self-Care, Self-Affirmation and Self-Love Self-love is one of the purest forms of self-care. The art of loving self is a daily practice essential for self-preservation. Self-affirmation is a key component of self-love. Making positive, uplifting statements affirms and reinforces love for self. In order to love others, we must first love self. Self-care and self-affirmations are vital elements of recovery and healing. We empower ourselves to take charge of our own mental wellbeing through the practice of self-care. By practicing self- care, we give ourselves the authority to say what is healthy for our mental wellbeing and what is not, thus creating the opportunity for us to choose. Self-care is not selfish but is self-preserving. We cannot show up for others and give to others when we don't have it left in use to give. July 24th was International Self Care Day. It was a day that internationally encouraged everyone to engage in some type of self-care to promote mental well-being. Every day should be a day of self-care. Simple acts such as treating yourself to your favorite cup of coffee, starting your day with a nice, relaxing shower, listening to your favorite playlist, journaling, or going for a morning walk are all acts of self-care. Be mindful, be intentional, and be present with whatever you choose to do for self-care. The main factor to reach maximal benefit in acts of self-care is to be intentional and mindful. Allow yourself to move through each one of your senses to fully engage and immerse yourself in the self-care activity. Engaging in self-care is not only an act of self- preservation, but it is also self-rewarding. You will thank yourself that you did it! Self-affirmations replace self-defeating and self-sabotaging thoughts. Positive affirmations also provide hope and light. There are several ways to make self-affirmation a daily practice. One practice I encourage my clients to use is the mirror technique. The mirror technique is standing in the mirror and making positive affirmations. This technique force individuals to face themselves. This technique requires the individual to stand with a strong posture and make \"you\" statements such as \"you are fearfully and wonderfully made\" or \"you will do great things today\". This technique affirms positive thoughts of yourself. Another technique uses post it notes. The post it notes technique consists of writing positive, affirming statements on post it notes and sticking them in places such as a bedroom, bathroom, office, or car to serve as positive visual reminders throughout the day. They are like light bursts of sunshine. JSpence JSpence is no stranger to dedication and hard work, in fact, he started his career as a hometown rap artist in Memphis, TN and grew to a viral internet phenom. The clothing brand was born from his 2017 hit single “Cocky”. He began with T-shirts and Hoodies with the words Cocky on them which created buzz in the TN area. He continued to inspire others with his message of self love, not arrogance, but was paused for three years due to an untimely incarceration, after he graduated from Tennessee State University. This time away only inspired JSpence to plan how to better structure his business and return stronger. Upon his release, he continued to perform his catchy and trendy music and expand his brand by adding CSO “Cocky Shit Only” which introduced the recognizable bear and the slogan, “if you don’t see the bear you a square\". Spence Cocky Gear Inc. continues to thrive and is currently able to be purchased in Styles Clothing Store in Hermitage, TN. The company continues to inspire everyone to love yourself fully, no matter who you are or what you look like, without needing the influence or opinions of others to validate who you are.
Standing Tall Texas Fashion Show. We all have some kind of flaw. Some seen and some unseen. Recognize and honor your blessing. Bring confidence to who you are. Stand together against sickness, depression, disease, etc. We are all beautiful. Standing Tall started as a foundation idea for my daughter with Down Syndrome and epilepsy. Noone else saw my vision and I lacked the confidence to move forward myself. Then I began to work with others on their fashion shows to make them a success. But I started to notice that Alot of my ideas were put on the back burner because it wasn't their idea. Until One day I found a couple of partners that loved and understood my vision, and I became CEO of Cocky Kidz. After Cocky Kidz began to expand over the states, I found out that alot of kids and family members wanted to model but were turned down because they didnt fit the profile of a model or just simply lacked the confidence to step out on their dreams. So I decided to step out on faith and bring DFW FASHION to life and take those with a dream to be an inspiring model. I want to provide a Gateway for those models who lack self esteem and confidence to step out on their dream and know that they are beautiful and can inspire someone else. - Words From Shae. Apply Pressure II - Apply Pressure is a huge Networking and Marketing event. Where each talent can face each other to see who's best. MUA vs MUA, Nail Tech vs Nail Tech, Baker vs Baker, Hairstylist vs Hairstylist, along with a Cypher. On July 16th 2023, we shut the city DOWN. We had one of the BIGGEST Artist Competitions and Auctions of the South. We had Rap Artist, Hairstylist, Nail Techs, MUA's and Bakers. All on one stage going toe to toe to see who's the best. Artists were able to network and market with each other. Learning new skills, and tricks to better themselves. We had vendors everywhere, from Henna Tattoos, Airbrush T Shirts, 360 Photo Booth, and even a Mind Reader. Vendors were able to auction off their products to get them noticed by the crowd.
