Last year, she moved her shop to a new expanded location near the island’s popular summer market. Blessed with three sets of French doors, abundant natural light and a small courtyard, it’s a perfect setting for her globally sourced goods. Outside, you might find vintage Chinese grinding stones and Hungarian enamelled tubs alongside garden furniture and Lorraine’s favourite broadleaf evergreens and Japanese maples. Inside, traditional African stools and woven baskets mingle with imported and locally made linens, and one-off pieces from her annual pilgrimage to Paris markets and Maison&Objet.
