SEAGLASS SHELL DANIELA NII Originally published in Interweave Knits Summer 2012, the Seaglass Shell pattern has been updated with an expanded range of sizes and reflects a change in the yarn weight of Manos del Uruguay’s Serena yarn—a beautiful blend of alpaca and cotton. The Rivulet (translation: river) Lace panel wraps the top of the shoulder before joining the front piece. GIVERNY TOP DONNA ESTIN Claude Monet’s gardens at his home in Giverny, France, were the setting for some of his most well-known works. Imagine wisteria climbing the trellises there as you work a beautiful vining lace up the center back of the Giverny Top. The lacing at the back hem gives a subtle nod to the corsets worn in Monet’s era. YARN BC Garn Bio Balance, distributed by Kelbourne Woolens PATTERN Page 67 SUMMER 2022 52

FOURNAISE TEE JENNIFER KENT The restaurant at Maison Fournaise along the river Seine in West Paris, France, was the location for painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s iconic “Luncheon of the Boating Party” (1881). The Fournaise Tee features a mesh lace panel that covers the entire back and wraps around the lower body to meet the narrower front panel. The sides close with shell buttons that beautifully catch the impressionist light of every day. YARN The Fibre Co. Luma PATTERN Page 70 SUMMER 2022 55 WWW.INTERWEAVE.COM
