["NCC DAY CELEBRATION NCC Day is celebrated on the 4th Sunday of November. This time, the celebration was a little more special because our chief guests were our commanding officer and Associate officer. We welcomed them to the campus with our band and pilots.","","REPUBLIC DAY Republic Day is one of the most important days in a NCC cadet's life, so we make it a little more elegant with our NCC band. After the band display and contingent performance, our principal hoisted the flag. It was the last official function of the 2022\u2013 2023 NCC year. The chief guest of the program was Col. KNV Achary (RETD).","","COLLEGE DAY These photographs were taken on the occasion of College Day celebrations. On that day, the chief guest was Puthenkuriz DYSP. We welcome him with our NCC band and Pioliting. That was a precious opportunity to welcome an officer like him.","","TO THE NEXT LEVEL It's time to add new band equipment to the fleet. Handovering three new trumpets to the GCM NCC BAND by Rajan Master","CAMP EXPERIENCES","CQMS MIDHUN K RAJ , PRE IGC SHOOTING CAMP \\\"It was the first camp in our final year of training. My training for the GV Mavalankar Sports Shooting Competition started in March and ended at the PRE-IGC level in May. We won first place in IBC because of the training we got from Yelobemo Sab. Also, I learned more about firing from paracommando Nemi Sab in PRE-IGC. Moreover, getting my hands on a German Anschutz rifle was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.\\\" SGT SHINY SHIBU , ARMY ATTACHMENT CAMP \\\"In my second year, I got selected for AAC camp. Unfortunately, the camp was cancelled because of the COVID pandemic. Later, on June 6, after receiving the rank, I became the representative of the GCM NCC at Pangod Military Camp. I gained a lot of memories and companions from this camp. I get the opportunity to know and practice with a few more weapons. I had the chance to listen to the army's life experiences, which were very interesting. The memorable 15-day camp ended on June 20.\\\" UO CHRISTY MARIYA REJI , TSC IBC \\\"One of the best experiences of my life was the TSC-IBC obstacle training camp held at Marian College, Kuttikkanam. This camp has given me so many memories. Since it was the camp after getting the rank and being the 18-K Battalion Representative, I also got the opportunity to become the battalion senior. This camp was an unforgettable experience for me.\\\"","SGT NEENU MOHANAN , TSC IBC \\\"TSC-IBC tent pitching was the first camp selection in three years of NCC life, held at Marian College in Kutikkanam. The 12-day camp provided unforgettable memories, including learning how to make a tent in minutes. I remember our one practice when we made a tent that took 8 minutes to make in just two minutes. It taught the importance of unity and discipline, making it a beautiful memory to cherish throughout life.\\\" CPL SOLBIN JOSE , TSC IBC \\\"It was the first camp after getting rank. It was for obstacle training in TSC. I worked hard to prepare for the event. I tried my best in the camp, but I was not chosen for the next level. I had a great time at the camp, liked it, and made a lot of friends there.\\\" SGT ABHIMANUE BAIJU , TSC PRE IGC \\\"The TSC is a 12-day national camp conducted in Delhi every year in the late autumn. I had participated in the TSC PRE IGC in the category of shooting. It takes almost four months for a cadet to be selected for the TSC national camp, so there are so many different camps for selecting the best candidates from different colleges and battalions. TSC camp has given me many great experiences. At each level of the camp, I gained many valuable pieces of knowledge as a NCC cadet.","SUO SREEHARI SAJU , ARMY ATTACHMENT CAMP \\\"In the second year, I got selected for an army attachment camp, but due to the Corona pandemic, the camp got cancelled. It was one of the best experiences of my life, and those 15 days taught me 15 lessons. From the beginning to the end, we had many varieties of punishment classes and weapon training. That was not a normal camp; it strengthened the mind, body, and courage.\\\" CSM RAHUL DINESH , ARMY ATTACHMENT CAMP \\\"Those 15 days were remarkable and full of memmories and relentless discipline. The experience and pleasure from the camp were beyond words. What most enjoyed is that the camp coincide with kargil vijay divas and I become able to celebrate it with Army personals, within the Army camp.\\\" SGT AKHIL BIJU , ARMY ATTACHMENT CAMP 'The camp was from 15 th july, and it was my first camp since I promoted as sergeant. The camp premises impressed me by its cleanness and its unique beauty throughout the camp, cadets from 18K Bn performed well and clinched some titles.. And still we are proud of it.\\\"","SGT ELDHOSE P B , ARMY ATTACHMENT CAMP \\\"Those 15 days are some things which created some unbreakable bonds in my life. It was my first camp since I was promoted as a sergeant.Throughout the camp our 18K bn conquers many titles and am glad to be a part of it. As a ncc cadet those 15 days enhanc by physical and mental strength.\\\" SGT VISHNUPRIYA R , TSC IGC \\\"As a cadet, it is a matter of pride to participate in TSC camp. I got a chance to attend the TSC camp until the IGC level. My event was JD\/FS. The first selection camp was held at Moolamattam St. Joseph's College. From there, to TSC IBC, then to PRE IGC. From there to the IGC camp, held at the NCC complex in West Hill, Kozhikode. At the end of my TSC journey, I've learned so many lessons as an NCC cadet, like how to handle situations, discipline, self-respect, and many more that a normal school or college can teach.\\\" CPL ARSHA SHAJI , IDC DELHI \\\"The camp in Delhi was the best day of my life, from August 1 to 16, on the occasion of Independence Day. I was able to become one of the 30 people from all the districts in Kerala. I consider it the best recognition to be able to participate in the culture program held in Delhi on August 15 august.It was possible to establish relationships with children in many directorates.\\\"","UO AKASH MUKUNDAN , IDC DELHI \\\"EBSB-IDC Delhi\u2014what an excellent camp that was. A whole lot of 16 days at DG NCC cantt with cadets from all over India,which was a dream for every NCC cadet. Though it was an unexpected chance, I got to enjoy each and every moment of the camp. In addition to that, what made me proud was the opportunity we got to represent our state in front of dignitaries from other friendly nations. Our hard work was paid off by the experiences we obtained during those occasions.\\\" UO KRISHNA A B , IDC DELHI \\\"For me, it was a dream run! Those moments representing K&L dte in front of a large audience across the world were goosebumps! Even though the camp was from 1-16th of August, our efforts and dedication started in May itself. From there we worked as a team and made our Independence Day Camp resplendent! I got the opportunity to lead our team, also the entire K&L directorate team. Today I have friends all over the nation and I am very pleased to be in the history of 18K Bn. Also, I got a good experience as the Camp senior for the Army Attachment Camp with the 11 Madras regiment, Pangode. Moreover, this was my second national camp. I got much exposure to rifles, their features and handling. For me, the closing day was the most special. The Commander of the Military Station, Pangod presented me with badges. It was an extravagant celebration of the New Year there. I can say... I got the best of those days...\\\"","CQMS MIDHUN K RAJ , TREKKING EXPEDITION \\\"One of the best experiences of my life was the trekking camp conducted in Kulamavu. There were five treks in the camp, each more than 15 km. The trek route involved walking through dense forest, steep hills, and waterbody crossings through mountain passes and villages. Trekking through dense forests and crossing water streams made me see the real beauty of forests.\\\" CDT ANURAG PRADEEP , TREKKING EXPEDITION \\\"The eight days at the All Indian Trekking Expedition camp were unforgettable. The camp was full of excitement. Belgavi hill areas were explored through trekking. It was an unforgettable experience from the top of the hill. Every step was full of excitement. Also, we got a chance to visit the Maratha Light Infantry Regimental Center. By all means, that was a memorable camp.\\\" CDT NANDANA PRADEEP , ARMY ATTACHMENT CAMP \\\"It was a great pleasure to participate in the 11 Madras Regiment Army Attachment Camp, which provided an unforgettable 12 days. When I was out there, RD Camp cadets were having their RDC preparation camp, and I was honored to meet and communicate with them. That was a very special moment for me. Also, I got a chance to handle the new weapon introduced in the Indian Army. We had New Year celebrations in the camp. By all means, it was a memorable camp.\\\"","LCPL VIPIN GOPI , KERALA EBSB \\\"The camp was very awesome. It was my first national camp conducted in Kannur with Madhyapradesh NCC cadets. I made friends from Madhya Pradesh and participated in games and sports with them. I had participated in the NIAP program as a character parasurama. I was happy to see lots of arts, dances, and cultures. Then we visited the Naval Base, the beach, and Snake Park. It was a great opportunity to take part in the EBSB camp.\\\" LCPL SAMUEL JOHN , KERALA EBSB \\\"The duration of the camp was about ten days. Afterall, I would like to express this as a free trip other than a military camp. Out of ten days, four days were assigned with trips to different spot I got a prestigious opportunity to visit \u2018The last point of Indian map\u2019 one of the famous monuments in Kanyakumari, The Vivekananda Rock. It was really a great experience and the other highlight was that I got plenty of friends from different states and know more about their culture and heritage.\\\" CDT NIKHIL V DILEEP , ARMY ATTACHMENT CAMP \\\"Those 12 days at the 23 Maratha Light Infantry Army Attachment Camp were very special and memorable for me. It was an opportunity to spend time with the Indian army. Through the camp, I got to see and experience the real Indian Army. So it was a very proud 12 days for me as an NCC cadet.\\\"","SGT ABHIMANUE BAIJU , ARMY ATTACHMENT CAMP \\\"Army Attachment Camp in Madras regiment this camp taught me discipline, to accept people the way they are, infused courage and strength, motivated me to do something to motherland and respect her and ultimately it made me a better person. I saw many Indian army armed weapons and armed vehicles which can't be seen by an ordinary citizen I got that opportunity because of I am a Ncc cadet.\\\" CPL SOLBIN JOSE , ARMY ATTACHMENT CAMP \\\"The Army Attachment Camp with the Madras Regiment helped me learn more about the army and their lives. The camp days were amazing, with many lectures, an educational trip to the zoo, one day of trekking, and also watching a movie related to the army. We had special classes on landmines and night vision cameras at night. Also, I had the opportunity to see many weapons of Indian Army.\\\" CDT ARDRA ANISH , TREKKING EXPEDITION \\\"Those eight days I spent were the most unforgettable days of my life, and many places in Ooty became my favorites. I was able to see many places and enjoy their great mountains. I made many friends because of this camp.
