A LETTER FROM OUR SENIOR LEADERS 2020 was a year for the history books. 2020 the year the world shut down. 2020 the year masks became part of everyday life. 2020 the year of empty shelves and frantic consumers. 2020 the year the CHURCH woke up! Together we have had the great opportunity to wake up to our destiny and to what really matters. For years, Holy Spirit would tell us, prepare yourselves- everything that can be shaken will be shaken. We found out what shaking looked like. Yet, 2020 looked like families rediscovering home, brothers and sisters sharing prayers and supplies, and most of all, a year that idols fell. There are many different acronyms for T E A M but the one that stands out the most is: TOGETHER EVERYONE ACHIEVES MORE North Palm, we were a great team in 2020 and will continue to grow even as a greater team in 2021. 2020 LAUNCH OF GROWTH SEGMENTS We launched Growth Segments in 2020 as an online teaching arm of Leadership Development. PANDEMIC 2020 TEAM SUCCESS Reflecting on 2020 mandates a pause to remember that we went through a pandemic together. The summary can be made in the words Team Success! First of all, we give God praise for covering us and giving us each the wisdom to walk through this season. Secondly, we honor each one who pressed in to make sure that others were making it through and even taking ground during this time. NORTH PALM LATINOS! We experienced a great move of the Latin harvest during 2020. We had our “Encounters” that were marked by a strong presence of the glory of God. Families were delivered, healed, and transformed. Today many of them are part of our leadership team and served in many ministries throughout the church. We launched our North Palm Español Facebook. This platform engaged and connected our Spanish community with all the different programs and activities we offer during the year. Our “Ellas” ministry provided a place for the Spanish ladies to fellowship and helped us to evangelize the Hispanic community. Ellas hosted monthly meetings with different topics to help and inspire every latin woman to become a woman with purpose. Latin nights were featured every quarter providing a place where whole families enjoyed their Latin rhythms, and praise and worship in Spanish. These nights were filled with the presence of God along with joy, celebration, fellowship, delicious typical food from the nations and more. All Latin Nights brought new families and gave us a little taste of the Hispanic culture. We accomplished our Growth Segments (Spanish) online. These classes allowed the Hispanic leaders to continue their spiritual growth and expand their knowledge of the kingdom. We had a great growth in our Guardians of the Wall intercessors ministry, they were active all year long covering the church and services with their prayers. We had a supernatural year and a fantastic move of God in our Hispanic harvest during the year 2020. Annual Report 2020 9

LEVITES & MEDIA The heart behind this ministry is to serve the church and community 2020 was a year of growth and the year of unexpected breakthrough. Even though there were many obstacles, this amazing group of Levites arose and overcame every challenge! From creating an online worship experience during quarantine to adapting to a whole new system post-quarantine, the levites worked together to accomplish all God was moving us to do. During quarantine, some of the levites came together to create and release worship sets for everyone online to participate in worshipping our God! It was not a usual experience, there were a lot of new systems in place to make it possible. However, with great joy everyone involved gave of their time and skills to not neglect the coming together of the saints—even if it had to be virtual for a season. At the end of the year we presented our first Christmas Presentation with a choir and special, original arrangements written right here at North Palm by Abdiel Iriarte! A special thank you to every choir member and band member who made it possible and gave your time and talent to uplift the body of Christ in the special Christmas season! We were also able to launch North Palm Media 2.0 post-quarantine! We were able to upgrade some of the equipment we already had to further develop this important ministry! Due to donations, we were able to purchase some media equipment needed to take the media to the next level! Volunteer after volunteer spent their time, energy, and skills to further advance the Kingdom of God. The media team learned entire new systems to make the online service possible. The new systems include but are not limited to: camera equipment, producing, streaming the services, Spanish online experience, projection, and sound. We are now able to stream an entire service in English and another service in Spanish! We are also able to share songs from the worship experience from that week twice a week on all social media platforms. This has encouraged so many people and lifted their spirits in difficult times through worship! 10 Annual Report 2020

NORTH PALM KIDZ Hello, North Palm Families! Wow, 2020 was a year We watched as our families began to grow in powerful to remember! MISSIONS HAITI Special thanks to Angela Henderson and her wonderful group of ladies in Columns 2 and 3. For several years they have sponsored a young girl by the name of Marie-Anaelle Taleyrand; most call her Anaelle. She is scheduled to graduate high school this year and also one of the top student leaders in Stand for Haiti LifeProof program. Anaelle also helps to develop the younger students in the program. Also, special thank you to Columns 7 and 11, they too have taken the challenge to sponsor a student’s education in Haiti. For the second year in a row they have sponsored Shorvens Altidor, a young boy that lost his father and is being raised by his mother. Shorvens is a special student who loves the Lord, loves to smile and loves learning. Thank you to all of you who continue to support our mission. HOME MISSIONS Extraordinary Missions in Our Community There is no doubt that 2020 was a challenging year. However, with hindsight being 20/20 (literally) we can see how the caring outreach of our North Palm community impacted our society in a very positive way. We took bitter situations and made them better by pulling together our resources to help with the needs of others. We are so excited to share what the Lord empowered us to accomplish! Veterans Affairs- The Witting Tree is a silent, faith-filled witness observed each day for eleven days, from November 1, through November 11 (Veterans Day). North Palm participated in the Witting Tree project by hanging 22 sets of dog tags each day on a tree in the Portal in public remembrance of 22 veterans who take their lives each day by suicide. (That is one Veteran that takes their life every 80 minutes.) Good Neighbor Fund- During the pandemic quarantine, we raised over $70,000 to help families in need. There is no lack in God’s kingdom. Turkey Basket Brigade- With a heart of thanksgiving and praise we served 75 turkeys for Thanksgiving and 75 turkeys for Christmas helping to support families for their holiday festivities. Angel Tree- With love and compassion we served three families with a total of six children to make Christmas wishes come true. ARISE (Aim. Reach. Inspire. Succeed. Enrich.)- We were given an entire school student body, CE Williams North 6th Grade Academy (formerly West Ashley Middle School), to take on the grand adventure of discovering what God was thinking when He thought of them. We had to stop during the school closures. However, we were invited back to continue soon after the 2020-2021 school year began. We have a total of 325 students who made this amazing discovery! BUILDING UPDATE Together...we pressed in! Who would have thought on that January 1, 2020 Ground Breaking that we would enter a time when the entire world came to a halt! But, God has been faithful and our building project continued on. One of the great interventions was that our Governor declared that construction was an essential business. Even the term essential business became a common part of our 2020 journey. During this year, we saw the construction phase of the building move forward and will dedicate and move into the building during the first quarter of 2021! Annual Report 2020 29
