The leaders of North and South Korea are meeting in the North Korean capital fortalks centred on the stalled denuclearisation negotiations. North Korea has embarked on an unprecedented series of meetings this year withboth the South and the US. But talks with Washington have reached deadlock, with bothsides so far agreeing only to very general goals. South Korea's president hopes to be amediator between the two, as well as boosting the inter-Korean relationship. PresidentMoon Jae-in and his wife Kim Jung-sook arrived in Pyongyang on Tuesday morning forthe three-day visit. They were warmly welcomed from the plane by Mr. Kim and his wife,Ri Sol-ju. Tens of thousands of North Koreans waved flowers and shouted unificationslogans as the leaders rode in an open car through parts of Pyongyang. It's the first trip tothe North Korean capital by a leader from the South in a decade. It is Mr. Moon's thirdmeeting with the North's Kim Jong-un since their historic summit at the border in April thisyear. They got a pleasant welcome by ten thousands of North Korean and Kim Jong Un, and this meeting was not only to boost their relationship . South Korea tried to be mediator between United State and North Korea. This meeting is the third time that North Korea and South Korea done together. My reaction/reflection: This article is easy to understand because it does not contain a lot of difficult words. I think this is an interesting article because it is the good thing among the powerful countries. I like the global political a lot. Page 3 of 6
